How tragic for the dogs Both humans sound.... incredibly unstable... having that many dogs I mean... That's just not normal... but having at them with guns that's crazy! I hope both people get help for their problems.... I really hope the surviving animals are fit enough to be re-homed

What Erny said My two are also chalk and cheese and I love them both to pieces... even with all their "quirks" What suits me, might not suit you, and what suits us might not suit the next guy... I can't imagine a university study spawning broods of mutts... I mean surely people who are studying dogs know there are a bunch in the pound that deserve to be first on the picking order.... let us know if you ask them? and what they say? x o x o .

Even as sad as that scenario might be I kinda hope your right.... Because to think... Anybody could watch a living thing deteriorate to "that"... is so beyond me.... I have great faith in the human race... but sometimes I am so let down I've come back here to have another look at the poor little fellow The look in his eyes He's just got.... nothing.... I think it really depends on the dog I would "rumble" around with my old dog, trusting, careful, playful and always in control (both of us) I couldn't do it with either of the two I have now, Steve (the tiny one in my sig) is too small (although he would love it ) and Kara (the scruffy girl) wouldn't "get it" I wouldn't let my dogs "mouth me" I just don't think it's appropriate.... that's me
