4yo dane bitch (Summer) cost me around the $250 mark. But my vet me. I think I paid for his house :cool: SIL had her X breed everything desexed and aborted a couple of days ago. $200. Dog only weighs 7.5kg.

It is against RSPCA legislation for you to contain your dogs with an electric fence. I can't tell you enough how great this method is, but if the rspca catch you using it, they'll do you for cruelty. I have an electric fence system (we're on acres with horses ) and both of my dogs have have been zapped as well as the Miniature Horse that used to just walk right through the fences (it was intended for the mini, she used to be a horror with fences). Our electric fence has since been disconnected, but the white tape still runs around the boundry fencing. Thats all it takes They see the white tape is still there and don't go anywhere near it. Years ago I bought one of those transportable dog pens for my fence jumping Whippet. I found that AFTER I put shade mesh over the top of it, it held her fine. Cost a fair bit, but I really got my moneys worth out of it

I've got a size 16 pair of wide leg dress pants that I bought for work if anyone is interested in them. Never worn, but washed once. I've still got time to loose the extra baby weight before I finish maternity leave, but I have a feeling i'm resigning instead. Also seen a nice bright pink suit in the window of one of our op shops, not sure on the size, but seems so many of you are after pink, i'll go and buy it.

On the topic of the skinny horse, I was given a thoughbred just over 10 years ago, that had been badly neglected, we fattened him up with Pollard. Don't know if you can still get it, but we mixed it to a paste and added that to his chaff etc.

On the topic of coats, mine all wear Thermo Master's. They are brilliant. Very warm indeed. BUT.....expect to pay close to $100 for one.

Sorry, I know there is a reason why every one says I pay my vets wages but.... Consultation fees are at the standard rate now (if that was your concern), so I'd be making an appointment now. If this was one of my dogs, I'd have gone lastnight, bugger the $120 after hours consultation fee.

I get my pups done when they are 3 days old. The stud dog of my last litter had his removed at 6 months. It was done under a GA, and where they were taken out from was stitched. Hope this helps Pigpup.
