Introducing Gretel (aka Tonichi Black Gypsy)!
gapvic replied to gapvic's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
Today we were lucky enough to meet SwaY and her gorgeous Affens! And to have her trust us enough to have her lovely boy Jango come live with us :D . So hard to photograph these dogs but here are a few pics: Gretel: Jango: -
Ranga, I'm doing 52 weeks of Rabbit Lady - she is a person with a rabbits head (mask) :). Hopefully with Bertie's help we will tell her story over the 52 weeks :)
-
Thanks trifecta :). Still waiting for Rabbit Lady's head - fingers crossed it will be here late next week and I can finally get started.
-
Beautiful photo Helen, so sorry to hear about Bella . I'm still waiting on the rabbit mask so I am now a couple of weeks behind
-
 Hmmmm, who is Rabbit Lady? I'm not quite sure how to answer that - we are still working out her story. Rabbit Lady has a human body but a rabbit head
-
Agree - would love to have you continue on HW but understand how tiring it can be at times lol
-
No worries Kirislin :) . I'm sure either vets will be able to sort out what is wrong with poor Puck.
-
Could you take him to a greyhound vet? They are much cheaper than normal vets, and used to seeing all kinds of muscular and skeletal injuries in hounds. They also won't make you sedate him for an x-ray. Sandown Vet Clinic would be the closet to you - ask to see Dr Alistair Smith. Otherwise Des Fegan in Cranbourne is very good.
-
Thanks heaps Trifecta for adding the weeks!
-
LAST ONE YAAAAAY!!! 52/52 - old man Huge congratulations to everyone who made it this far!
-
Great! I think I'm going to do 52 weeks of Rabbit Lady
-
51/52 - Zarr (my what big teeth you have!)
-
 Tay, have another go :D
-
That's a lovely story Kirislin :) . Pagan is beautiful.
-
Good luck with him Trifecta!
-
What breed is he Trifecta? Kirislin no, I don't really ride any more. The only one I have who is actually broken in is the stallion.

As there are only two weeks left of our 2014 photo challenge, it's time to start thinking about 2015 :D . For those who have not taken part before, the aim is to take (and share with us here) one photo per week. It's a great personal challenge as it encourages you to pick up your camera and take some photos when you may otherwise not. I've learned so much doing it and my photography has, I think, improved as a result. And a little hint - each week I pop my photo onto a Blurb book I've created so that at the end of the year I can get it printed and I've got a nice record of the year that has passed :) . Sooooo - if you'd like to join in, just add your name to the list as well as what your theme will be. Your theme can be anything - daily life, dogs, landscapes, portraits... anything that is likely to inspire you to keep going when it gets tough as the year drags on. Who's in?
-
Happy birthday Clay! Finally caught up! 50/52 - Emily
-
Hehe CG sadly yes . And Kirty  , it's a slightly retarded greyhound :D
-
One more baby! Late last year I sold a young Spanish stallion but just before he was sold, we covered a friends clydie cross mare as she wanted to breed a partbred. Here is her baby, Cirrus. Isn't he fabulous? :D
-
They are Andalusians (Spanish horses) so most of them tend to be grey :)
-
Not dumb at all Piper! The ones that go grey have tiny little grey hairs around their eyes. They are too small to see in these photos. This indicates they will grey out with age :)
