Further to the post in the forum about what people comment on in these threads, from this point forward, I'd certainly welcome any constructive criticism of my shots. I really want to improve so any feedback, good or bad, is very greatly appreciated :) . Thanks!!

Oh dear, I think I prefer dirty b&ws
-
LOL - we don't, just greyhounds :-). We have a couple of terriers who live in our office here as our test dogs, and needed to start to bring a new one on. Got in touch with the breeder of our best test dog and came home with four  ! Personally, my own dogs are: 1 pug, 2 terriers, and countless greyhounds
-
What a lovely time they're all having!
-
Huga, completely OT, but what is a "dirty" b&w?
-
Snook and Huga (and anyone else), please feel free to critique my pics! I'm here to learn, and there are so many far more experienced (and talented) photographers here. Any feedback, good or bad, is very much appreciated :) It was lovely to read that no-one has said they don't comment because they don't like the person. Just shows what a nice bunch we are here in the Photos Photos Photos section :D .

Thanks guys, they are SO CUTE! And major time wasters  . Having so much fun playing with them. Sadly the little girl (the white and tan) is going to her new home on Sunday . More photos of boy (aka B I N G O) to be uploaded over weekend.

Thanks for sharing Kritta - they are great -
Post some photos Kritta :) ! I've got the 50mm 1.4 and do almost all my pics for the current 52 week photo challenge using it.

Thanks Kritta! It's a f4.5 - 5.6 :)

I've driven past this property in Daylesford many times, but today I actually had my camera so I could photograph the drive. Isn't it just beautiful? I'd dearly love to be driving down that every day

Is that a cubby KA? Week 18 - autumn leaf. One day early as I'll be unable to do a shot tomorrow.

There are so many fabulous photos in this thread Week 17 - You're in my heart: corny, but true

Why I'm Glad I Didn't Go Grey Or Online....
gapvic replied to jr_inoz's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
Thanks Snook! I spent about $2400 and had no problems with FedEx(other than delivery dramas) or customs, and my parents spent $1500 the week after and also had no problems. Maybe it's just the luck of the draw?? -

When did customs start to clamp down? I spent over $1000 with DWI six weeks ago with no problems re customs :) -
I recently got the Tamron 90mm macro. Still very much learning how to use it but am having lots of fun :)
-
I've recently bought the D7000 and used it on the weekend to get some dog action shots. I'm sure I got more than 10 in a row with no slowing down after that, but to be honest I wasn't really paying attention. I think I remember reading in the manual that the memory card will affect the amount of shots you can do in a continuous burst??? Not sure though, might be wrong

I have the Nikkor 70-300 and I love it. I use it a lot and would use it even more often if I had a tripod good enough to hold the weight of it Edited to add that I love to use this lens for portraits :) . Here are some pics I took at a family gathering over Easter, all taken with my D7000 and the 70-300mm lens.

Thanks heaps Kja! I've been wanting to do this one for weeks but the weather has been terrible. Today it is glorious so it was an ideal time to practice the vintage styling . Off topic, but for anyone interested the dress is from RetroSpec'd, made in Sydney, and bought through www.birdsnest.com.au

Thanks Snook - that one makes me :) . Dress is a new addition and I'm just rapt with it - so comfy and pretty :D
