  1. I did a night shoot a couple of years ago snook and once I got out there and started, I was a bit scared but I really enjoyed it :). I went to the local abattoir and train station and it was kind of special seeing them in the dark (except for the horrible conductor at the station who was very suspicious of my camera and I, but that's another story). So go get your gear and head out into the dark - I can't wait to see what you come up with :)!
  2. I've a story 3/4 written :)
  3. 8/52 One day, Marvellous came across a wondrous garden. She approached the brightest, most beautiful flowers. "What are you?" she asked. "We are ROSES" the prettiest replied.
  4. Lots of lovely pics, I think the above should have been titled "Waiting For Marvellous" Just joking everyone huga, your son looks almost ethereal in that light! I think I may have been to that waterfall, can't remember the name of it but in the Sunshine Coast hinterland? My pics for last week and this are still coming. Last week's is still in the camera; I have been under an enormous amount of pressure this week and haven't had time for me at all Hehe re title Trifecta :D . Sorry to hear your week hasn't been great
  5. LOL he was in a milk drunk stupor  . She is in the whelping shed, in a big whelping box that is lined with carpet :). I don't whelp them down at home anymore and have finally found someone we are happy with. We will see them again in about four weeks and I'll take more pics then. And thank you, Sarah is a gorgeous girl and a wonderful mum. This is her first litter. Many greyhound racing people don't like blue dogs but I love them, and am so pleased we have seven! And of course our little Inky boy :D. We've called the rest Periwinkle (he's the blue boy with the large white stripe down his nose), Baby, Sky, Royal, Sapphire, Teal and Indigo.
  6. Our girl, Sarah, had her babies on Wednesday night. We went to see the new additions today - seven blue and one black. All adorable!
  7. OMG a hedgehog! Snook, so beautiful! Huga, a lovely photo of your son. My photo this week has driven me insane. I've made several attempts now over three nights and this is the best of a bad lot. I hope to come back and re-do when (a) the moon has gone and (b) the wind has gone! Poor Marvellous got lost in the grass several times and had a hard time of it. 7/52 Some nights, when the moon was full, Marvellous would climb from her nest of flowers, sit atop a convenient fence post, and look up at the stars; it made her feel particularly tiny and alone.
  8. Posting one day early 6/52 Each afternoon, Marvellous would make a cunning nest out of flowers. The purple ones were her favourites.
  9. Hoping everything is going ok and that Neko has accepted her babies. It's always that little harder with c-sections. Thinking of you!
  10. Congrats!! Hope all is going well this morning with bubs and their dear little mum!
  11. 4/52 ... and she walked...
  12. Every time I've had a pregnant bitch ultra sounded and X-rayed for numbers the vet has got it wrong (way wrong lol) so fingers crossed this is the case here too. My last maiden bitch screamed a fair bit - I wish someone had warned me that they sometimes do. I'm sure all will be well - you are well prepared and have vet assistance ready. Looking forward to seeing baby photos next week :)!
  13. I'm going to sound like a stalker - but Marvellous has her own album on facebook - she popped up today. I've obviously followed Gapvic to her photography page at some stage. :) Lol she does! Tis here
  14. Thanks everyone! PC, she came from here :D
  15. Gorgeous sunset Snook! And your daughter must be so pleased with that photo Teekay! 3/52 Marvellous set out to explore. She walked...
