Thanks! I don't have kids and I was kinda hoping I could somehow use my mother (teacher but retired) but looks like that's impossible.

I'm very excited to be about to get my new computer :D . Now that I'll have something that can manage it, I'd like to get Photoshop. Wow, so expensive!! Does anyone know if you have to be a current school teacher to qualify for the discount? Or where the best (ie cheapest) place to buy it is? Thanks!!

Congrats TLC - can imagine how excited and proud you must be

Thanks guys! Thanks too for the hints Huga - my camera was driving me mental with its refusal to focus. It was just the most glorious day and we've another the same today :) . How wonderful to have Spring back :D

It was the most beautiful day yesterday so I thought I'd go have a crack at back lighting for my 52 week pic. I struggled! I had real trouble getting the exposure right as I wasn't in the frame. I tried to use other objects for the exposure but still didn't get it right. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

All the pics look wonderful - I have major photoshop envy  . Need to hurry up and do my tax so that I can see if I can afford a new computer.

The greyhound I asked about in the first post has gone to a home in Victoria with a cat. I did wonder if he had been tested prior.
-
The person who adopted the greyhound in question paid $220. He then required a dental upon arrival to Victoria.
-
Thanks everyone. Will forward your info onto the owner of the dog and have her contact the pound direct. It all sounds a bit odd. Kind regards, Larissa

Hi all, We've had a call today from a person who adopted a greyhound from a group called Pound Rounds. I've not heard of them before. The dog has arrived in Victoria with no proof of vaccination, microchip or sterilization. My understanding is that the group have advised that all this was done at the pound (Hawksbury) but that the pound didn't give the paperwork etc to the rescue group. Is this normal for dogs being released from Hawksbury? Larissa Darragh Manager, Greyhound Adoption Program

Agree with kja - such a cute pic huga! And yes, thank you, I'm fine - I've no personal connection to the child in the grave.
