  1. Ditto! Am sitting here now in tears. Another lady just asked me what's wrong and I explained a dog on my forums (everyone here knows about "my forums!") has passed away She asked if I knew him? It sure feels as though I did, and I'm sure many others think the same. He was so beautifully photographed by Rocco1 and displayed so many different emotions, but never failed to bring a smile to my face. I am so very sorry for your loss Rocco1, he was without a doubt something incredibly special RIP big fella
  2. Thanks! Are they show prospects or have you got other plans for them, tracking or something? (Sorry to hijack your Earl thread KHM )
  3. Neither of those are in Aus. Neither are Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs. The only Swiss Mountain dog in Aus is indeed the Bernese I'm very curious to know what these dogs were though!!!
  4. Ohhh dear, I'm sorry to hear that hun I never met you guys or Choco but gosh I loved seeing his gorgeous photos. Sorry you're going through a tough time
  5. Saints and everything!!!!!!!!!! Why don't I have foxtel?
  6. Saints tick every box and I would have suggested them myself....EXCEPT FOR....they shed like there's no tomorrow! They do not only blow coat twice a year but all year round, well ok I suppose it could be twice a year - January to June and July to December
  7. What about a Beagle? Although I'm not sure how much they shed...
  8. Absolutely beautiful Norskgra as per usual! Will she be staying, or sold to a pet home? Or perhaps it is too early to say yet? Must say, Tyra is a bugger for having a smooth pregnancy and whelping this time round isn't she! Although I am sorry for the two little angels you lost
  9. It is fenced, but the fences are not high, probably around waist height. Very easily jump-able if any dog is prone to that. Just so newbies know
  10. Another vote for Mark Singer. You won't find a better behaviourist in the state.
  11. The third photo is where I see a bit of Lab, in the face/head. The fourth photo, the body looks a bit Pitty-ish possibly???
  12. Bit of Lab maybe? There's something I can't quite put my finger on...
  13. My OH taught Hudson (65+ kg Saint Bernard) to jump up on his hind legs, put his front paws on OH's shoulders, and lick his face He says "It's cuddle time Hudsy!" in the most pathetic little girlie voice you ever heard, and the beast delights in slobbering all over him. Now when I'm standing over him and start talking to him in my cutsie voice he tries to do it to me!!!
  14. Is Edward the pup you've kept Centitout? We need pics of him too
  15. HE is 20 kgs at the moment - adult weight for males is 40 - 50 kgs - so he will double it at least Really wow I thought males would be more like 60kgs, there ya go learn something every day ETA: Still a massive dog ;) Just the way I like em
  16. He is just divine Katie!!! I cannot wait to meet him and stroke those ears - I love long velvety ears!!! Sounds like Centitout did a really great job matching your family with the smoochiest pup, well done
  17. You can do away with the rice, it is just a filler. Also raw meat is better than a cooked stew. Bones are essential in my opinion for happy healthy dogs :D
  18. Yeah that's it I work just up from there.
  19. Yep you got it in one Jed. They sure looked like white Boxer babies to my un-Boxer-trained eye Absolutely gorgeous, but definitely the wrong place for them
  20. Absolutely Agree x 1000000! SOME vets, not saying all, can "trick" or mislead puppy owners into thinking that their pup needs all sorts of xrays/tests/whatever done when in fact they really don't.
  21. I saw the same litter in the same shop - well so I'm assuming, otherwise that's a pretty big coincidence! I loved the little fella with the brindle/black patch on his eye...CUTE AS! They were all adorable, poor things being in there. Right next to Kelpie X Border Collies who were "On Special!!! Ask Inside!!!"
