  1. Just a thought, others please add your input. I can picture in my head (from your description) the way you're stacking Josie by moving her front feet and sort of pulling her forward into the right position. If the JH judges are judging correct handling, would this go against your son as it's not a "traditional" method? Or does it not matter as long as he gets the desired result in the end? Just speculating, I don't know enough about JHs to be sure :)
  2. Good stuff getting him to contribute, I think that's great :) I need someone to help fund my showing!

    Malamute Help

I truly hope he doesn't reach 85kg, that'd be one obese Mally
  4. Have you called her or just texted? I would call and be persistant, especially if you still want to show him too?
  5. A previous thread started by the OP spoke about their desire to show their Akita, but the Akita was on limited reg. Crablord did you end up sending pics and videos to your breeder for assessment on your boy? If so what did they say, were they happy for you to show him? Agree with what everyone else has said, that biggest isn't always best. And he still has growing left to do at 8 months old.
  6. Woohoo so happy for you! A great first result! :) Sumo got baby in group his first show too and we've been hooked ever since!
  7. Check the Show Ring forum for details of Nala's first show :D A very good result!
  8. Woohoo Nala! She is lovely, that movement photo is beautiful!
  9. Not yet, he's entered next weekend though :) Thanks I think he's starting to mature nicely.
  10. Hi Fevah nice to see you back here :) How are your Min Pin cuties?
  11. He gives the best cuddles! :D Actually there's really no such thing as "personal space" when he's around.
  12. Haven't posted in here for ages but just thought I'd share this pic with you guys. Sumo is now 10 months old and pushing 70kg.
  13. A quick shot of my boy, he's 10 months old now :)
  14. Dyzney that photo is adorable! I love Rotties! :D
  15. I would recommend sticking to the diet the breeder has advised for at least the first 18 months of your pup's life :) This is when s/he will do the bulk of their growing, and correct nutrition is of vital importance. After this time you can possibly look into a slightly cheaper food :) Big dogs cost a lot of money to feed unfortunately! But they're so worth it :) PS hi Sags, long time no speak!
  16. Thank you, I think I'll get one :)
  17. Showdog do you know if those ones have a weight limit?
  18. A Rottie is a perfect choice :) Sorry about Treb though, must be heartbreaking but knowing that you are doing the right thing by him should help a little. Hugs!
  19. I love Ezio what a little cutie! Hankodie maybe Hank's mouth is a little sore due to teething? Could be a reason he's gone off his bones.
  20. A have a Bernese and a Saint. The Saint is 65kg at 8 months and is a good size, I don't think of him as huge although 99% of people we meet do. When he's mature I will think of him as big. My Bernese is 45kg and he is my "small" dog. I think I have a distorted view lol :) German shepherds/Ridgebacks/Rottweilers/Dobes I would call medium. Border Collies/Aussies small. Toy breeds are teeeeeensy tiny! :)
  21. She's way too cool for a small dog :p Clearly a Berner in disguise!
  22. Was she given a receipt when she paid the deposit?
