Unless he has papers there no way to prove he is pure... The majority of Amstaffs in Aust are well over the 'preferred' height. Unfortunately its not unusual to see purebreed AST as tall as 23 inchs at the shoulders

it is so hard, I'm sorry I dont have words but you have my moral support

I got my beautiful girls Ashes back yesterday so I now have her with me for Christmas... it still hasnt hit home yet that she is not coming back, and I will not smell her, or rub in between her eyes again, or crack it with her when her big clumsy tail smacks stuff off shelves

Just now I had to give my Angel her real wings. She barked, she escaped, cost thousnads in vet bills, she fought with the others but she was my absolute heart dog. Such a big clumsy galoof, that was the sweetest thing you can find, until recently where she just became more and more distressed about everything, to the point where she was injuring herself. I knew last night as I watched her get up, lay down, pace around, lay down, get up, cry then lay, staring vacantly at nothing that it was her time and I was making the right decision. Rinsey, I tried my best with you when everyone told me that I should give up. Please know it was the hardest decision I've ever had to make but I am so glad I was there to catch you as you fell asleep in my arms The Vet said I'll have your ashes back before Christmas, and am taking solace in that you dont have to suffer another Fireworks season. Loki has never known his life without you, he will start to fret for you when you dont come inside to sleep tonight. RIP Special girl, I wish I had the right words for you. The prettiest girl in the world, crooked teefs and all

RIP Harry. I always giggle when I see his toofy grin

:D Jesus are you still on this thread? That quoted above is probably one of the most idiotic posts ive ever read. So you dont eat lamb, (dont know what you're missing out on Moselle), you havent eaten pork 'for ages', not eaten beef in 18months (thats pretty specific is that something you're proud of?) but you eat chicken.... where does your chicken come from again? If you dont want me on this thread then ask all the other posters to simply stop forwarding comments or questions.....my way, it's that easy, don't you think? And yes I am proud of the fact that I have not eaten beef in 18 months....why? shouldn't I be? I merely answered a question. As for your analysation that my post (above) is idiotic....that is simply your opinion and only because you don't agree with the comment that was made. I came to that conclusion after reading time and time again in this thread how people who kill their own meat are doing so simply because they basically disagree with how livestock is treated and slaughtered in this country! That is bollocks! I do stand by my original statement and that is that people who kill their own meat do so to save money and because they simply believe it is a healthier option....and not because of wanting to make sure that the animal lives its life happily before being slaughtered. Moselle, if you dont want to be involved in this 'disturbing' subject then do as Raz said and Bugger Off! No one is forcing you to come in here and respond to everything thats directed at you, just leave it.

FFS Moselle, if you arent interested in Ferreting why are you in this thread!? Its like going into the pregnancy thread and spouting about how much you hate babies... its just stupid. You say you arent trolling, then why are you here? This was in an invite from Nekhbet to accompany her Ferreting if you were interested, which you clearly arent. It wasnt a thread inviting comments or opinions of Women who hunt.

Hi Guys, I want a DSLR. I currently have a Pentax Megazoom and whilst its good I'm not 100% happy with it. I like to take photos of everything, animals, people, landscapes.. everything. I dont care about weight or size but I like to learn how to do new and cool stuff so a fiddly camera doesnt worry me! So, what would you recommend and why? I dont really have a budget because I'll just save up if till I can afford to buy whatever :p

Wow, I dont know much about Pei but Marnie looks devine

Do You Feed At The Same Time Every Day?
Ruffles replied to Winterpaws's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
They get fed when I get around to it. Sometimes if we are out really late they dont get fed at all... No biggy. They know its coming eventually -
Precisely... look how good OB classes were Poodlefan, Loki is very fear aggressive... very very (IMO, dunno what K9 thinks). He's doing much better now, but we are no where near out of the woods.
-
Exactly... we tried to do everything right with Loki, puppy school, obedience, dog shows, and look what we got out of it!
-
Thanks for those Links ZA! And no... doesnt necessarily mean I am getting a new puppy

Hi Ruffles I am raising a pup on a raw diet at the moment. I spoke to my holistic vet about it before I started. Basically she helped me come up with the ratios to make sure he was going to get enough calcium etc. I am really happy with the way he is growing - she told me that in her opinion it is best for pups not to get carbohydrates as this is what causes them to grow too quickly. Im sure lots of people will have different opinions to offer you, although I have been feeding raw for 6 years, this is the first time Ive raised a puppy this way. Im happy with the way my pup is going - the breakdown I give him is: 50% RMB 40% Muscle meat 5% Offal 5% Fish I also give him some cottage cheese, but I dont think that fits in with your prey model diet? It was suggested I give it to him just to get his calcium levels right. Im not sure where you are, Im in Perth, so if you are in Perth I can give you the name of my holistic vet if you want to get some info from her specific to your dog. Thank you very much for that info! If anyne else has input as well I am more than happy to listen
