Oh I met the Moo today and what a gorgeous girl! Ruth & Peter must be so proud! That head is to die for! Thank you :) we are all very proud of our girl - she was their first home bred Grand Champion

I would say thats true in one of my breeds - Fields but definitely not true in Aussies. Tails are still rarely shown as judges will prefer to put up a NBT - I guess its because thats such a defining feature of the breed.

"Oh wow your Field Spaniel is so friendly, how unusual" - hmm no not really. They are meant to be friendly! Sadly some lines are known for being shy and scared. And yes I've had these comments even from judges Then I get the usual "wow shes a big cocker spaniel" And with the Aussies... "Nice coolie" "Why did you chop its tail off"

That's awesome TO!!!! I just started training with Flynn this week, he picks up things pretty quickly so I'm pretty impressed. I just need to work on my handling skills having not done any agility for at least 3 years now!

I do a spreadsheet with all my dogs results - I also write the other main results of my breed ie. who was there, who got the challenges etc. If a judge is rude or rough they get a black mark. If they have no idea what my rare breed is that usually earns them a comment too. If them seem disinterested while judging not only my breed but others too, then I'll usually put something down about that too - why waste your money on a judge that clearly doesn't want to be there.

that's so frustrating. Sadly not much can be done just feed them a high quality diet which you already do.
