  4. I'm sure Rev wants to do it again Take the Moo
  5. He looks lovely Trish - can't wait to meet him :)
  6. Right hand under chin/holding up chain and left hand holding out tail. If you get a bit flustered just concentrate on getting the dogs head forward and keeping them still, I wouldn't panic too much about the tail.
  7. Congrats on a smooth whelping LP and Zara!

  9. The book every Aussie fanatic should have is: All About Aussies by Jeanne Joy Harnagle-Taylor In Field Spaniels the "bible" is pretty much "The History and Management of the Field Spaniel" by Peggy Grayson. I've only ever borrowed my breeders as its pretty hard to find a copy of the book these days and if you do they sell for about $400 second hand.
  10. I saw them do that and I asked them if they had an official source and didn't get a reply. Even if their sources are good, and who knows, maybe they have a mate in the Minister's Office, I would still hate to see people start planning on the basis of that date and it turn out not to be correct. I don't work for DAFF btw, but I am a public servant and know how this kind of thing can change overnight. Yeah it was bad form of DNA to post a date with no official basis to go off. I just would hate for someone to prepare a dog thinking things were going to change when it might not.
  11. There has been no official statement released as to the changes to the importation regulations and when they will come into force.
  12. My baby turns 1 year old this weekend - where has the time gone!!! Sway - Hudson is rocking it right now - looking fab
  13. Yup it's Zara :). Have to say 8mth cycling is very handy until it comes to the matings! hahaha! I will tell you the hubby once I know she's up the duff :) I think I'd prefer 8 months to 3-4! Moo is bang on 6 months and who knows what Rumour will do yet! Will keep my fingers crossed for you!
  14. Fingers crossed for you LP! I'm guessing this is Zara? Who is the lucky fella? My bitch is due in season any day but I don't have any stud males available. I'm going to prog test her to see when she peaks as last season she was 110 at day 7!!! Oh and can Zara tell Rumour cycling every 8 months is great, I feel for those people that have bitches come in every 3-4 months!
  15. That makes me feel a little better - will have to seriously consider - after all the boy I like is pretty special. A Striker son, very nice :) I have to look at importing semen for my Field - we have a very limited gene pool here.
  16. My rising star for this year the Monkey Monks aka Rumour - Ch Kinbrace Take Your Best Shot (IMP NZ) Photo taken by the above lovely person ~*Shell*~ Just shy of 10 months
  17. Both my Aussies are very friendly - will go up to anyone for pats. But as Kia said they will alert bark if they hear someone come to the front door etc. Saying that if an intruder walked into the house they would probably forget that they were barking at them and just run up for pats
  18. They certainly did last year. Although not all the class winners came over from memory.
