Must be different in NSW because, even though mine was lodged and the payment taken from my credit card, I was categorically told that I could NOT do anything with my dog until they confirmed the registration had gone through. Yes thats the same as I was told.

His registration number will stay the same but that being said I know in NSW it is against the rules to enter a dog before the re-registration process is complete.

You need to re-register him with your state body. You need a copy of your air way bill and quarantine release as well as his NZ export pedigree.

I second SW on the Subaru - great car but when things start need fixing it can cost a bomb. I upgraded my Forester to a Nissan X-Trail and the services/repairs are by far cheaper! Not sure if that would be in your price range though.

No worries, timing is often of an essence so better to have results faster than wait all day. I'm lucky I have a few clinics around me all with in-house testing.

HC is a dominant gene so therefore there can never be carriers. Dogs are either Clear, Affected (1 copy of the gene) or Affected (2 copies of the gene). Glad you got your results rectified.

can we clarify? Am very pleased to see 'Washy' getting RUIG, but the website results have the Puli as RUIG..... The owners daughter posted that Washy went RUIG and she was ringside so pretty confident this is correct and catalogued incorrectly, hopefully it gets fixed eventually.
