  1. I hope that you are just going to watch and not thinking of taking dogs. APBTs are not allowed to be imported into NZ or Australia.
  2. Thanks Aziah. Was there a sweeps breakdown? Hope my numbers are there when I get home.
  3. It was a brilliant weekend You are more than welcome for the photos
  4. I was wondering if you were ok Aziah. BIG Working was Zipper again on Sunday. RUBIG was Cardigan Corgi. General Specials BIS line up was identical both days. BIS sun went to Ewok the Afghan, RUBIS went to Finn the Giant Schnauzer. I had a brilliant weekend with Flynn getting 1st in sweepies on Sat and 3rd in sweepies and Baby Puppy in Group on Sun. Well done on your RuBIG Aziah

  6. Fields 0/0 Aussies - hmm which Aussies do you mean? Guessing Shepherds which is 5/4 Yeah shepherds, thanks heaps!
  7. Are there any Fields entered? How many Aussies - thanks
  8. I've put my entries in, looking forward to it!
  9. It is possible to do it yourself but you can only use Qantas. Travel agents can sometimes get better deals. If doing it yourself you need to see am AQIS accredited vet 10 days before departure to get blood drawn for tests including heartworm antigen and babesia. Then 3 days before departure you go back to the vet and get the treatments done for internal and external parasites. The vet will complete Vet Cert A for you, you will need to complete an owners/exporter dec and also a dangerous dogs stat dec. You need to take this paperwork to the AQIS office and they will issue you with your export paperwork.
  10. Glad to see him enjoying his job - felt bad for him banging into the trailer though. Hes pretty big for a Cocker too, almost bordering on Field size.
  11. Thanks...I just can't get to some of the group classes that are held at Hillsborough, so I thought some 'one on one' might help. Hopefully he can fit in with my work scedule . I will look him up!! Thanks for the lead sammy_ballerina... I went & had a lesson with Glen yesterday afternoon & it was really helpful. I will be at Castle Hill on Sunday, so we will see if there is any improvement then!! Thats great - I will have to keep an eye out for you at CH!
  12. Jed its so good to see you back. Run free Meg Look down on your mum and take care of her.
  13. The going price for a Field is $1000, doesn't matter if its show or pet - but theres not many litters a year so not always advertised.
  14. Thanks so much Steph, I will do that shortly, I'm just going to take the pups for a walk. Someone told me there is a lady in murrurundi that shows cockers, I'm waiting for my neighbour to give me her contact details. I will Email the newcastle people and see if they can help. I'm not sure who that is...let me know when you find out their name.
  15. Hey Hollie, I can help with training but I'm not at any shows up your way for a while. I'm not sure if there are any show training classes up your way either. Does anyone know if Tamworth has any? Otherwise I think the closest is Newcastle? The best bet re: grooming is probably to get an experienced cocker person to show you. I'm useless in that regard as Fields have considerably less coat! Some breeders up your way: Grace Woodward - Barbet cockers at Saratoga Megan Rochester - Adjobi/Feenix cockers at Newcastle Most of them are in Sydney or down south actually! And if Ruth does some Sydney shows definitely aim to do the same shows and she can help you then. With training - only reward for correct behaviour! If she doesn't give you what you want, don't reward! Reinforce the good though. With doing a free stand after doing a triangle etc just don't let her sit, if she does, pull her up on all fours and reward. She will get it eventually. PM me on FB with what shows you are thinking of doing and I'll try to head to similar ones.

What a lovely tribute. Run free sweet Tina and smile down on your mum from the bridge
  17. Yes as I said, they have to meet a set of import criteria before they can even leave. All the rabies injections etc that they get are for their return. They then have more tests etc on return to Eastern Creek.
