For me colour isn't that important - for a pet (obviously for showing you wouldn't want a mismark etc). From talking to breeders about the pet market in Aussies the clear winner is blue merle bitches - everyone wants them, I think because they are "different". Its funny the amount of comments my OH gets on his morning walks with Flynn. Last week an elderly man commented that he was a nice looking dog and obviously didn't know what colour to be when he woke up this morning

Agreed I would prefer to be asked to leave if the judge isn't considering my dog rather than hanging around in the sun while they run out their preferences several times more! Yes I agree! I also love a judge that goes into the ring for the group line up and knows what they want!

Hi, If you have someone going up earlier than Friday get them to save a space. We got there last year Thurday at lunchtime and got the last spot at the Gundog ring......you'll probably still get a spot on Friday but just not near your ring. Not going this year......this was excellent last year....though very tiring. Yeah most ringside spots are well and truly gone by Thursday arvo. I'm only doing the Sunday this year, 6 was too much last year. Elise - when you arrive at the grounds, turn right and working is the last ring you will see - the road curves to the left and working will be on your right.

Yes at a recent show we heard someone question the committee as to the random assortment of judges they had picked and they quite blatantly told them that they picked them as they knew they would put their dogs up - and what do you know, all their dogs were picking up groups and classes in groups etc.

Dogtainers and Jetpets would probably be the best two to start with. Current conditions for export to the UK: * rabies vaccination when the pup is not less than 3 calendar months old * RNATT test performed at least 21 days after rabies vaccination * Dog able to travel 6 months after the date of the RNATT test * Tapeworm and tick treatment between 24-48hrs before departure * All treatments must be performed by an AQIS accredited vet * Documentation from AQIS stating above
