Cross-posted from FB: CESSNOCK AG FRIDAY - CHANGE OF VENUE Friends We have just been advised that, after an inspection this afternoon, the arena at Cessnock Showground has been closed because it has not recovered sufficiently from Monday night's storm with almost no drying out at all. As a consequence the area is unable to be used on Friday and, with no alternative area available on the grounds, it is necessary to announce a change of venue. Please be advised therefore that the venue for Friday's Cessnock & District Agricultural Society's Dog Section has been moved to the CNCC Hillsborough Dog Showground. The commencement time has also been amended to commence at 10.00am with Sweepstakes to provide time for exhibitors who don't get this message to travel across from Cessnock. ***Cross posting to get the word out*** Please note change of Venue for the Dorrigo & District Kennel Club show Saturday 28/1 & Sunday 29/1/12. Due to extreme weather and flooding the show will now be held at 81 Bonville Station Rd (Tarraray Pet Retreat) Bonville 2450. Camping is available but power is limited. There is 3 toilets and 2 showers available (possibly 3). The committe has decided due to the extreme weather to make this decision. It's amazing ... Until recently (December 2011), Malaysia had an outright ban on dogs from Australia. To go to China today, dogs from Australia must be quarantined in Australia for 28days. And there is no quarantine in Australia for dogs going to China if they are travelling accompanied (ie one pet per passenger) - the criteria you speak of is for commercial shipments and very rarely done as there is too many hoops to jump through.
