Thankyou, hopefully it will be a good day. We have an interesting line up of "demo dogs" - weimaraner, GSP, Curly coat retriever and Chessie. Dont know where all those pesky labs are up here.

On the 7th of October starting at 12:30 the Working Gundog Club of NSW in conjuction with the Newcastle All Breeds Dog Training Club will be holding a Beginners Gundog Retrieving Day. This day will cover what you need to know to start training your dog for Gundog Working Tests and Retrieving Trials. The day will include demonstration and activities and there will be lots of opportunities to "give your dog a go". Please bring along something which your dog likes to retrieve that is not a dumbell and preferably not a ball, treats for your dog, water, a way of securing your dog when not working (stake and lead or crate), a chair for yourself and dont forget your dog. Retrieving items will also be available for purchase on the day. The venue is the CNCC Centre Obedience grounds on Hillsborough Road in Charlestown, Newcastle.
