Unless you explain to the collector what's going on how will they ever know why people are refusing them. I always say I know you are only the collector but here the reason why !.

Please people if you are going to use an muzzle and if it has gaps in it like the old greyhound wire ones, please put tape around it so the dog can not get the bait through the wire gaps. I have seen dogs eat bait size pieces through the wire. :)

I always advise that the quickest method is getting blood drawn at your vets and sending it to Dr. Jean Dodds at HemoPet in California is the quickest method as she has a test for allergies and pardon the pun but is the quickest method of trying to releave the irritation for both of you.

Some time ago I rang Bayer about the blue wax blocks. The rep I spoke to told me that all the tests that were carried out on this product were done in the Black Forest in Germany. The Black Forest is a precious part of the world and with all the baiting that was done not one other species that was found dead at the time was dead from secondary poisoning. I was also told that the poison works by weight it would be almost impossible for a dog to die from ingesting rats and mice. Not so if the dog ingested the block itself or several there of. Sorry people I know no more than that.

My repo specialist said he found the injection caused problems with the prog. test results and the tablets were a better way to go ?.

For Thyroid you need a T5 and the blood needs to go to Jean Dodds at HemoPet in California. The test done with these people are far more intensive so I have been told.

I just found your post and have been reading through it. It is just not good enough to the pay the bills for your lovely greys. This woman's dogs should be declared dangerous. Hope yours are recovering well and you are to.

You say the dog was not transferred to the last people that had dog, but if you let them have the dogs papers and they were signed by the last known registered owner/s, what was stopping the last people paying the fee and transferring the dog into their name. Before you do anything you had best find out who's name the dog is actually registered in. :)

Firstly I agree with the others get rid of the Wandering Jew may be the whole cause of your problem. Well your a wake up to the vaccination problem or the over vaccinating problem. Also it is believed that their can be a problem link up with vaccine and black dogs. Google is your friend about many things but not all the time. :) Hope what has been said has been of some help. Tackle one thing at a time so you may eliminate it from your list and let us all know what happens.

Unless you give us some more details about the condition as to when it happens where it is on the body and what it looks like and what treatment has already been administered, there is not much we can do to help. :) For all we know it could be case of Dermodex.

If this was my dog I would want a T5 blood done and sent to Jean Dodds at HemoPet in California. :)
