  2. The Toowoomba Royal Schedule is up and what a suprise it was to find out who the judges were. http://www.cccq.org.au/Shows/Trials/Show/T...les-2011-1.aspx
  3. Craig Murry he can be contacted through Ian Rasmussen at Paws and Whiskers Phone 3208 5222
  4. I keep it for years. If you have the original bottle it has an expirey date
  5. I just thought why not do what I do. I use Nappy sacks to collect the poo in and knot it off in the bag and then I put it into a cheap plastic nappy bucket with a lid and lined with a supermarket bag. When it is getting smelly I just lift the supermarket bag and knot it and put it in the wheelie bin. I have the bin lined and at the top on the lid I have attached a thing called Bin Kill purchased at the supermarket in the same area as the fly sprays. This kills any nasties and cuts way down on any smell.
  6. What about an automatic sprayer similar to what we use indoors. I also had them attached in the kennels. Worked great for flys and mossies. I don't need them now as I only have a couple of dogs but I still use them indoors 24/7
  7. We have all the solid sides plus one silver mesh and one clear.
  8. Rivet weld mesh to the garage and fence.
  9. Bin it in bags Dig it into the garden Get a Dog Loo Put it through the toilet system Get a worm farm Cheers
  10. Depending on the brand of vaccine. Nobivac has a 36 hour turn around. Any vaccine that enters the body starts to work straight away.
  11. What can I say....Save water shower with a friend.
  12. We shall all just have to agree to disagree. When a dog is covered for life. The only thing that will kill off the anti bodies is death or irradiation. It was also explained to me that if the dog appears to be low it does not mean it is not coverer it means the dog has not been exposed to the disease, if it comes back high it means the dog has been exposed and the anti bodies have multiplied and protected the dog. The new Nobivac given once at 10 weeks is said to give complete cover for life and over ride parental immunity.
  13. Actually Oakway the originating registry doesn't care about your membership number, the dog is registered into a name and address. They don't recognise (or bother with) foreign membership numbers. dwilds I suggest you sign up soon and make the most of an almost full year of membership. You will need to be a member to register your import here, you will need their quarantine release paperwork, freight notes etc as well as the endorsed pedigree from the country of origin. Sorry, I was always under the impression the said animal had to be transferred and an export certificate issued and as a member they would need your membership number. My apologies to the original poster. Anyway it would be a good thing to become a member as soon as possible.
  14. Have a look here. http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/puppie...lky-terrier.asp
  15. First vaccination here at 8 weeks. But I am looking into the new Nobivac 10 week vaccination and it is said that NO further vaccine will be required during the dogs life. The new Nobivac is said to over ride parental immunity. (I have not bred a litter in approximately 2 years)
  16. Hi, If you want the dog registered into your name I strongly suggest that you become a member immediately. How can the controlling body( possibly FCI) issue export certificates if you have no membership. The Dogs Queensland office has been closed due to the flood situation, but as soon it operational again, please go in, if it is possible for you to do so and speak to them about what you want to do. They are most helpful and be able to give you all the details and forms that you may require. Also don't dispose of any paperwork that you receive including quarantine release and freight documents as you will require them all for re registration.
  17. To me it is purely an Australian farmyard mentality usually handed down by dog hating yobbo's.
  18. I don't believe that. Most of us breeders value our bitches far to much to de sex them.
  19. You do not get refunds from dog shows. ;)
  20. Yes, quite. How? No funding=no programmes. If they are donation de sexing, let them donate Euth and education.
  21. The only solution is to euth the dogs and educate the people.
  22. If you are ever stuck again a level teaspoon of table salt in 500ml of water works well. If you have some sterile water you can inject it under the skin too.
  23. Temporarily, for sure. Showing with hormonal implants is one issue that still needs a decision one way or the other. Aaaaaahhhhhhhh, and don't forget the vasectomy.
