I think you are right there Do you seriously think they would do that. I think you need to wake up and realise that not everyone in the world is out conspiring against you. Believe it or not there are alot of people in the world who don't just think of what is best for them and actually go out of their way to try and do what is best for everyone involved. I don't know the people on the council, I'm not saying they would or wouldn't - I'm saying there is a chance really dodgy things can be done. That's all. And there's no way in hell I'm voting on anything with my name on it. The office staff will be doing the counting I should imagine not the councillors. Its your choice and I don't have a problem with that.

What the others have said but are you absolutely sure what your friend has said is correct. When we are upset over things at the vets or on the phone it's so easy to get confused over matters. It can be quite a shock to the system to be told something like that.

Firstly I have not stood a dog at stud for years but when I did it was so simple. You paid me a stud fee. You got to use the dog. If she didn't have pups you got a free return. End of story. Never had a problem.

I think you are being over protective toward the dog. The vet wants your custom he does not want to drive you away. The vet does not necessarily have to know the weight of your dog as somebody else may have weighed and given the anesthetic. Remember it's a busy vet surgery and the vet may have wanted to go and see other seriously ill patients. Not all dogs are handled the same way as you and I do especially a very groggy one. Cheers.

I am not sure you will find what you are looking for. (sorry misunderstood want you were wanting before) I find good shampoos are always more expensive and the only to get a good price on them is to buy in bulk or at good on line shop with less overheads. Cheers

None of it. It is not worth the cost for pure bred breeders to take up. Most pure bred breeders and showers have their dogs so confined or kenneled that they don't usually get out. We do not get coverage on whelping bitches also.

Hang on all of you. Before you all start to point fingers, this is a Forum for pure bred dogs. Most breeders have a problem with or should have a problem with, people allowing x bred litters. Don't you believe that we have enough BYB's as it is. If things go wrong, who cleans up this persons mess or any other persons for that matter, the rescuers on DOL and other rescuers. Spare a thought for them. Sorry it is just plain irresponsible to have a x bred litter in this day and age. Will every puppy in this litter be de sexed or will they go onto homes and perpetuate this very same situation. JMHO

Hi, I just checked the schedule and the club have not asked for an envelope to sent along with the entries for the return of numbers. You would have to collect your numbers on the day from the secretary's office/tent.

Sorry but as this is a pure bred list why didn't you have the bitch spayed and the pups aborted. Or is this a pure bred registered litter.

Don't panic she may not even be in season. I had a Collie mate my husbands German Short haired Pointer many moons ago. She was not in season. The Collie had a habit of mating any bitch in season or not. ;) If she is not in season she will not have pups. But check that she is not on a silent season because if she is, she just may produce a litter.

I have rung Dogs Queensland and as far as the person that I was talking to was aware, said the ballots had been posted as job lot. Keep your eyes open for them and Please vote no matter what your choice is. So few vote and the result is not alway a clear view of the members wishes. It always appears as though only a minority of the members vote. If a majority vote a clearer decision may be obtained.

It's seemed to me that it's always been that way, so why split now? Give us the juicy goss and I might vote. ;) My lips are sealed ;) To be quite truthfull I know nothing more than what I have said.

I was speaking to a person at the RNA only weeks that stated that the dogs were really nothing to do with them and hadn't been for a long time.

Here's a tip for ears, if you want to use it. From an early age, about 3 months I tip Metho into the dogs ears. It is a great cleaner and after the dog shakes it head to remove anything down there, the Metho just evaporates and leaves a clean non smelling ear. It's up to you how often you use it but I use it at least once a month. I would suggest that if you are at the vets, get the vet to look in the dogs ears and makes sure their not an infection in the ear. I have been using this for more years than I care to remember and don't EVER have ear problems, but then I also don't have dogs with pendulous ears which are more prone to ear infections. I often find owners with dogs with pendulous ears that use the Metho method don't have ear problems. Hope this may be of some help.
