You vaccinate and micro chip at 8 weeks.

You will need to build a secure roofed pen. For electric fences try e-bay. They do work most effectively.

I think it was me that gave it to you at Durack. 500 grams of beef liver 2 eggs shells included 1 cup of flour either S/R or plain. 1 desertspoon of oil puree liver and then add eggs and oil, then the flour. Put into a swiss roll tin or similar and cook for about 30 min at 180.

Any form of pineapple will do. We used to get the anysort of plain lable. I always thought the crushed was the easiest to put in the dogs food.

The coat colour is normal. This is the coat colour from the ANKC R/R standard Light wheaten to red wheaten. A little white on the chest and toes is permissible, but excessive white hairs here, on belly or above toes is undesirable. A dark muzzle and ears permissible. Excessive black hairs throughout the coat are highly undesirable.

We are led to believe that it can live in the ground for many years. The most important thing is, to make sure the next puppy is vaccinated correctly. The chances of another puppy being infected I think would be low as long as it is vaccinated. If it were me I would not want the pup till it was at least 3 months and had, a second vaccination or a titer test done in this case.
-
um yes you can..my well known case here on DOL...Hef was 6 months old and had had his 3 vaccinations! Yes but Missymoo we know about Hef, but he is the exception to the rule. :p The average run of the mill dog when vaccinated does not usually catch Parvo or die from it. You and Hef were unfortunately the exception to the rule.

I have personally spoken to Jean when she was out here a few years ago. If you have any doubts, I am sure if you e mailed her she would be happy to help you out in any way. http://www.hemopet.org/aboutus.html If you are also in doubt about Nobivac vaccines just e mail them as they are only in Bendigo Victoria. http://www.amrric.org/system/files/images/...2%20%202010.pdf

The new Nobivac vaccine has a 36 hour turnaround. As stated by the vet.

I agree dancinbcs. I know I will be in trouble for saying this but people who show and breed have a reputation to maintain. Yes we know that there are many reputable breeders that do not show but they can be few and far between.

Vaccination Schedule For Show Puppies... Any Different?
oakway replied to Merrirose's topic in General Dog Discussion
Sounds pretty normal to me. . Shows that have micro chipping and vaccination days, you see whole litter going in to be vaccinated. I would have thought that show grounds were one of the safest places to go to. How many un vaccinated dogs go to shows?. None that I am aware of, as we value our dogs to much to take them to shows un vaccinated. -
It sounds as though have found an good kennel.

Tear Staining And Antibiotic Use
oakway replied to persephone's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
As far as I am aware the dogs feet get wet when first let out. (Through varies reasons) The dog licks the feet and the saliva turns the feet yellow. This product stops it. I have a dogs that suffer from the same problem. -
Tear Staining And Antibiotic Use

Ok- that I 'think' I understand ..does it then stop the bacterial reaction that happens when feet are licked ? As far as I am aware......yes. I have friend who uses it for just that purpose. All I can tell you is that the dog now has the whitest feet, that used to be licked yellow. -
Vaccination Schedule For Show Puppies... Any Different?
oakway replied to Merrirose's topic in General Dog Discussion
I give one vaccination at 8 weeks and then titre, if the titre levels are correct then the dog is never vaccinated again. It is most important that the antibodies passed on from the bitch are at a low, or the vaccine won't work. That means that pups that are still nursing off their mothers at the time of vaccination may, in some cases, still be receiving anti bodies through the dams milk, as some dams have been found not to switch off, thus preventing the vaccination from working. To make sure this does not happen at Oakway I remove all bitches from their pups at 6 weeks. -
I use it and I am in Qld. Must say I have never noticed any state on it. I will look next time I do some entries.

Tear Staining And Antibiotic Use

There was a reply about the drug used in this product in another thread. It basically stated that is was harmless in the quantities used. I tried to find the thread but couldn't. I "think" it stated that it was not in the normal range of antibiotics used for infections.
