  1. No, it's not bad, but how many were there in the litter ?.
  2. What did the worm look like. If it was a long thin worm it would not be a tape worm. Tape worms are caused by fleas. Tape worms usually present themselves as looking like grains of rice that may stick to the dogs coat, or segments of similar size and are moveing on the faces. It was long and flat (white, creamy color) and looked like lots of segments joined together?? so what worm is this?? She got some flea's on her a couple of months ago, they only lasted a few days. Yes your are quite correct describes tape worm exactly. The flea gets into the mouth and the dog swallows it into the stomach and then a short time later you have tape worm. I would think that the vet has given you drontal and that should fix matters immediately. Good on you for such quick thinking.
  3. Congratulations to you and Fern for a wonderful litter. I just wish I was young enough to show a grey again. Now days I am relegated to the Italian Greyhound.

  6. Yes mine get ice cream, all flavors to. As much as is sensible, orrrrr cut it out,be honest they guts it.
  7. Thank you kirst goldens. I have tried again to up a photo of her but to no avail. It worked. It worked
  8. I don't understand the relavancy of my your question. If you doubt my probity because of my nationality/residency, whatever that might be, then why would you believe my answer to your question? It is obvious that I have upset a number of members here because I have told them that a product that they have faith in has been mis-sold to them by the makers (not necessarily the resellers). Perhaps their ire should be vented at Angels eyes/Angels Glow etc and not the person that tried to warn the trusting and unsuspecting customers. Users that want to abide by the law need only to phone the number in the following link and ask if it is legal to give products containing tylosin tartare to dogs or cats without a prescription http://www.apvma.gov.au/about/contact/index.php If you do and they tell you that it is legal then feel free to lambaste me. I perfectally understand my question. If you are person living in another country it MAY be your rules but not in Australia. 1. It "could" be interpreted by your posts that you may have a real problem with the product. I don't. 2. It "could" be interrupted that you "may" work for a rival company. 3. It "could" also be interrupted that you may also be stirring up publicity for this product. Until your position is declared I shall have no further communication with you. I shall also continue to use this fantastic product.
  9. And people wonder why we are losing so many people from the world of dog showing. If this proposal does become effective then there goes another nail in the coffin of the dog world.
  10. Nothing that works as well as Angel Eyes. As this product is available off the shelves of the pet stores and appears to be available in most countries so I shall be using it.
  11. As I said in my first post it is easy to overcome you just get your mate to apply for m/ship.
  12. I have voted no. But I would vote yes for initial membership. As to how this would work would be mystifying as you would only need your mate to get a m/ship and prefix in their name and this would still allow you to breed and sell under their identity and possibly pay the mate a few bob into the bargain. lilli We have or have had suspended members applying for and obtaining membership through out Aust.
  13. Dazla Do you live in Australia or are you really overseas, and don't mean Tasmania.
  14. http://www.marchwindigs.com/services.html Is this her? Veryyyy cute if it is her!!! Yes but when she was a baby...you should see her now!!!!!!! thank you for tying.
  15. Personally I believe that it is a whole lot of hype to....come buy my dogfood. Dogs have survived for years without specific foods. I often wonder if it is not these grain laden dog foods that may have caused some of the problems that some owners face today.
  16. My understanding for the core vaccs (C3) too Problem is that some vets follow the new protocol and others refuse to acknowledge it. Same goes for training clubs, boarding kennels.... We don't generally board our dogs, so don't have a problem there, but have had lengthy conversations at a couple of clubs we play at regarding their policy. Both clubs ended up seeing our point of view - with an animal that is Titre tested I can PROVE that they have immunity. (Or at least did at a given point in time.) All anyone who vaccinates can prove is that they have vaccinated - it is not a guarantee either. Oh - best to be careful with heart worm injections for Collie dogs. My boy doesn't tolerate anything with Ivermectin (sp?) in it. Your quite right, titer tests PROVE your dog is vaccinated. It's the only proof that the vaccination worked. I wish my local club/vets would see it that way. Some people can't or won't see past their own "policies". Most have no vision beyoned the end of their noses.
  17. I would keep an eye on what the planes were doing before I made a decision. I also neant Gympie not Isis.
  18. It's easier to have a pad in the box as the cord comes straight out underneath it. It is easy to cut a notch for the cord. The best heat pad I have ever used was a heat pad from a water bed and what's more it has a heat control. Best of all is a heat lamp positioned over one corner of the box and then the bitch will move in and out of the rays depending on what heat she requires.
  19. I wonder how Rosewood will cope if the planes are not flying. edited to add it may also effect Isis.
  20. No bottoms in the box for me because my bitches usually scratch all their bedding. I find if I place the whelping box on top of the bedding, the actual weight of box holds the bedding down. I usually put down something soft then then vet bed on top of that and the bitches usually find it to hard to scratch up the bedding especially if you have vet bed with the stiff backing and then that makes it so bl@@dy hart to wash, but if you have a pressure spray it deals with vet a real treat.
  21. Mine is exactly the same design as the photo of Sparky Tansy. I would never again have a whelping box with a floor built in. I find the flat whelping rail attached to box stops the pups when older getting their head caught. I find if you just use round rails the pups can get their head caught between the rail and the box.
