  1. Well I said I would not get mixed up in this topic, but here goes. WHY does the owner of the stud HAVE to sign a service certificate if they are leasing the bitch?. The bitch will be in their name and they are the ones responsible for registering the litter not the OP. I would say most us that OWN the bitch and THE dog only sign the certificate when we go to register our pups.
  2. Received the 180 gm container of PlaqueOff today.
  3. Puppies only receive antibodies from their mother in the first 24 hours. After 24 hours, antibodies are digested instead of absorbed whole. That is, puppies weaned at 2 days will have the same amount of antibodies from their mother as those weaned at 42 days as those weaned at 56 days. I would not be concerned about this situation, either. Just monitor boobs to make sure that they look okay. You can also reduce mum's food to try to dry her up, but it should happen on its own, anyway. This has been found not to be correct. I can not give you the exact cases as I have lost all the information in computer crashes. When tested SOME bitches were producing anti bodies that it stopped the vaccine working when given.
  4. All I can tell you is that my bitches are removed from their pups at six weeks NEVER to return to let them nurse. This way when vaccinating them at 8 weeks I am reasonabaly sure the anti bodies from their mothers milk will be at an extreme low so that when the pups are vaccinated the vaccine "should" work. I would not be concerned in the least if I were you.
  5. Why don't you just say to the purchaser next time they complain, if your not happy we will give you a full refund.
  6. Wow that's fantastic. I have had things take longer within Aust. Well lets hope all our bottles arrive quickly.
  7. Don't forget things may be a lot slower with all the Xmas mail.
  8. Fingers crossed for you. Sounds as though things may have turned the corner.
  9. Are you sure the bitch has not had Toxic milk or does have. I have never experienced this my self but I have heard of it.
  10. Glad to hear that. Everything passes through the milk supply.
  11. Just a thought but could it be the bitches milk ?.
  12. This just heart breaking news to hear. My condolences to all.
  13. It is also known as meat meal. As I said if it is just that blood and and bone it will not hurt them I have fed it for years. I always purchased mine direct from the abattoir
  14. If it is just that Blood and Bone it will do no harm. I have used it to feed my dogs when I had some on a meat diet only. Many dog dry foods use this as a base for their products.
  15. I have just ordered another lot for a friend who is using it and finds that it works. It is often ten days to 2 weeks for its arrival here. I live in the country so we always add a couple of days extra. In future I will be ordering for myself the largest bottle their is to save on the costs.
  16. Ones that go ZAPPPPPP work the best. Other than that de bark and with a Frenchie that would be my very last resort.
  17. Put down lots of newspaper then the vet bed on top of the paper then the box without a floor on top of the vet bed then to stop it slipping shove some heavy bricks around the sides.
  18. No floors in my whelping boxes
  19. Two things here - low immunity judging by what? Titre testing only shows up the antibodies actually in the blood stream at the time. If the dog hasn't been exposed to the virus "recently" then the antibodies won't be wandering around the bloodstream, that's not how the immune system works. The dog could then test as having low immunity when it could be that if the dog encounters the virus it's immune system will actually do what it's meant to do and produce the right antibodies. The cost of vaccinating vs the cost of titre testing may be the reason why some people chose to vaccinate and that's their choice. The cost TO THE DOG is the reason I choose not to vaccinate annually. I ask a simple question - when were you last titre tested or vaccinated for polio? I agree with this reply.
  20. Totally agree with this. Why on earth would you expect a dog that is not trained to not go through an open gate or come when he is called? As for slipping out of the collar. Get a collar he cannot slip out of like a martingale. If you are not prepared to restrain the dog each time you go in and out he needs to kept in a fenced area away from the bump gate. It isn't rocket science and the dog is not the problem. Your family are simply failing to manage the situation and if I was your neighbour I would be mad as hell too at your inability to keep the dog confined to your property. +1
  21. Why not give Wayrod on this list a private mail. Hear nothing but good reports.
  22. Just out of interest why not down load the Dogs Queensland partnership contract and see if there is something of interest in it that could be of help.
