I might give it a go - I don't mind about the price. I was just trying to use an Australian made product :) The Applaws dry is made in Australia though the cans are imported. It doesn't matter where it is made as long as it suits your dog. The dog is the priority. :) What a sad attitude Im pretty sure Rosetta is aware that her dog is her priority, but kudos to her for trying to find a food which supports our country and suits her dog. X's 2, Clyde Soooooooo, you people are more interested in where your food is made, than the quality and nutrition that is available in it and its suitability for your dogs. I am sure Rosetta will find a product suitable for her dog in the long run. We all know she cares or she wouldn't be asking and we care to or we wouldn't be trying to help. -

I realise that :) Just wanted to point out that the dog was the priority not where the food was made. Yep, I'm also the one in the supermarket checkout line up with all the cheapest brands. -

Please may I ask why you believe it is the food you are feeding ?. I'm only trying to think of things that may be of help to you. I live in Qld and depending on the weather in the area where you live you may have to worm every 2 weeks during some parts of the year. Could this upset be due to worms aliened with the weather conditions. Soil type and wet weather can mean a hook worm overburden and this may mean very lose stools sometimes blood streaked. Could this be happening to the dog ?. :) -
Makes a bit of a mockery out of things when a friend said the other day, yes, they are by my 20 year old semen :)

Puppy Gets Cough After Being Airfreighted

How long after being vaccinated where they freighted ?. Many breeders don't vaccinate for Kennel Cough as they can develop a cough after vaccination. -

` No never. -
That's fine. It has worked on all mine to a point where you say it's just an unbelievable product in what it has done for mine. :) I wish it had worked for mine. Perhaps I'll give it another go, I've still got lots left. Hi Kirislin, I really do think it can be trial and error. Like many products that can effect some more than others.

Double the dose and give the dog a bone (chicken necks or similar) and it will all be gone in a couple of weeks. Some dogs need more than others.

They are excellent trolleys. Well made and at a great price for their quality. Not quite as light the cheap ones but well worth investigating. They come in many sizes and designs. No , I am not associated with them in any way :) but know a good one when I see it.

You know what Stans Mum said is pretty spot on about them going. Mine can go two or three times a day depending on what they get. I just never thought about it in those terms. Must admit I had visions of you with very large dogs doing gallons . I haven an Iggy that weighs 5.7 kg as I weighed her at the vets today and she can go at least twice a day. She gets dry, chicken necks beef mince (only because for some reason mine are refusing to eat the chicken mince). -
Hi Zoiboy, yes the water bed heaters were the best I ever used. Only problem I haven't been able to get onto any lately, seems they have gone out of fashion. You could fit them in one area of the whelping box and the bitch would move in and out of the warmth zone at leisure I am hoping that pet heating pad will do the same but am concerned they may be scratched up.

I get your point Oakway. I just wonder if it is good for him to go from pooping once a day to 3 times :) I was wondering if it is just your dogs metabolism on that "particular" food. Strange isn't it the way things turn out. -
I use an ordinary everyday out door spot light that is red coloured. (red because it is much easier on the eyes) Just use the same socket that you for outdoor use. I also use a pole that I can attach to the whelping box or I attach it to the crate with cable ties. I use this mostly at night the rest of the time I have a heat pad. I have never used a heat pad before but I will soon find out what happens. I hope to use the pad during the day.

Rosetta I hear what you are saying but if the dogs are doing well does it really matter how much you pick up. I am used to picking up from the smallest dogs to the largest it doesn't bother me. I just see it as part of owning dogs and lets face it those of us that like to be clean (and it appears that you fall into the category) pick it up and put up with it. On a lighter note may I say, work in a boarding kennel over Xmas and just see how much you have to pick up  you start to think what you pick up at home is nothing. -
Your breeder should have supplied a diet sheet when you collected your pup. :)

Jean Dodds/ Hemopet Thyroid Test
oakway replied to PuddleDuck's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
It cost me a $154 and some cents. That was the total price I paid for a T5. The vet arranged everything. All I had to do was turn up at the vets with the dog. :) -

Mine are still doing well on it and I have found that there are only improvements for them and me. I have two bitches in whelp on it and they are doing fine so far. I intend to raise the pups on it also, so we shall see what the future brings. -
Absolutely love it. It can't happen quick enough for me. Good on you Troy.

You have to be kidding......We the registered Pure Bred Breeders are so over regulated with rules and regulations and codes of ethics we can hardly move. We the pure bred breeders are the ones that are locatable by being registered. Go and see if you can find a list of puppy farmers. so you are exempt from the law? I'm not saying we need more regulation. In Victoria, the policing of the laws for registered breeders and they haven't done a particularly good job. I'm saying that the laws apply to everyone. That applies to all laws and all people. No kidding. They do apply to everybody and we are the first to cop the chop because we are regulated and governed by Rules and regulations and can be found. See if you can find the puppy farmers who have no rules regulations and codes of ethics like we are bound by. As to policing it that is up to the powers that be not me or you. Also the local/state police forces have problems enforcing the law when peoples lives are concerned. Their is good and bad everywhere but don't lump the good in with the bad.
