Anyone Just Feel So Angry About Impounded Dogs?
oakway replied to spirrall's topic in General Dog Discussion
Always remember we have dog owners and dog lovers. There's a big differance between the two -
Dog tooth paste is called bones here. The young pups get chicken necks to start then wings and as adults they get turkey necks

AngelSoul, I would vaccinate my own dogs with killed vaccine. Remember their are two types of vaccine live and killed. It can be terribly difficult to obtain live vaccine. .......unles a vet purchases it for you. I would have no hesitation in purchasing killed vaccine. If dog or cats have had their first vaccines from a vet their should be no problems in using killed.

Family Dog - Move To Us - What Will Happen?
oakway replied to Snowball's topic in General Dog Discussion
When you return the dog will be required to do 30 days in Australian Quarantine. Don't forget rabies test must begin at a specific time before the dog will be allowed back. If you go to the States and if the rules have not changed it will be best to have the rabies shots done ther. Their paperwork will give the greater protection. By that I mean all the paper work will be registerd within the US. -
Any body can vaccinate their dog. You can buy killed vaccine and administer it to your dog yourself.

Thanks Megz that was good of you.

For the best in show results or the Mexician Wave ;)

Personally I think their story is full of holes. A dog becomes unconscious before it stops breathing. And yet they'd have us believe they continued to hold him AFTER he stopped struggling? Fell off a grooming table while left unattended on a noose? Now that I'd believe. Of course that puts all the blame on them and none on the dog. + 1

The owners may be away showing. Sydney Royal is on and lots of specialty shows. If the owners have won at the Royal they will have to stay for Specials day.

Pyometra Information And Advice Needed Please
oakway replied to justicesmum's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
If it was me, I would be speaking to a repo specialist. -
Well I am on the boarding kennel side. If you have worked continously in the industry you would understand. At busy times like Christmas and Easter entires are a pain in the butt. At quiet times they are welcome.

I'm with Ellz on this one. You feed your animals what they do best on.
