Yes your quite right Tasmania is at a disadvantage, as the only way you can get off the Island is by sea or air. Their are many people that are disadvantaged because of limited income and the cost to get off. It's just not like putting petrol in the car and driving there. As we all know petrol is expensive enough and get getting any cheaper. I believe Tasmania should be exempt from this rule. Also many people who show dogs are getting older and may find themselves in the same situation in a few years.

Isn't is pathetic that such clubs are still stuck in a time warp? About time they pull their head out of the sand and start reading and learning a thing or two! So many dogs having to suffer auto immune diseases simply because of sheer ignorance! I couldn't agree more. I think it is a shame that the people that hold these fixtures don't know much about the the health of the dogs they promote. Maybe they don't know as much about dogs as they think they do. If they did they would not subject the dogs to auto immune disease. JMHO.

Hi, At this late stage I wouldn't worry. If you have any concerns why not do the bitch when you do the pups.

My suggestion is to get the bitch and the pups to the vet for a check up. If you are asking what to do on here I suspect you are not used to lots of litters acting differently and feel unsure. As I said off to the vets for a check up for your peace of mind and health of the bitch and pups.

All I can help you with is that the last bottle of peptosyl was white and smelt like peppermint and the bottle of scour ban is pink. Nothing to say that they may both be pink now. I use Peptosyl for the babies and Scour ban for adults.

If it was pink I would be inclined to say it was scourban.

If you only want a playmate for your bitch why does it have to be on the main register ?. Why couldn't you contact Staffy rescue and get a nice dark one all ready de sexed that may fill the bill perfectly.

Thanks for the information and being honest. As my photos are under copy right,I don't mind giving somebody starting off a helping hand but when a third party is involved it is not practical. Cheers
