The little ETT that I bred went Best of Breed and looked great in the Group (Toy) Very proud of her and the critique came through last night and was WONDERFUL.

Can I have a brag please If you watch the Toys and see the English Toy Terrier I bred her. She got BOB and there were over 50 Etts entered. I am so thrilled. Noxi is lovely and performed SO well. Pity they announced my name a little bit wide of the mark..LOL

Glad I wasn't the only one then who turned around and went home. This was after they wanted to charge me an additional $20 for my passenger (it was never in the schedule that you had to pay for passengers). There was at least 8 cars behind me when I was at the gate, so I wonder how these people got on.

Try having an English Toy Terrier in the Toy ring. LOL. They are a toy but must retain their terrier attitude. Mine do and it is easy when in a line up surrounded by the Chinese Crested and the Griffon. Not that the ETT should be sparred, but they like a good game and show a lot of interest in the other breeds around them. I had a bitch last year that snatched a low flying sparrow whilst doing a work out. Fit for Function.

I buy smoked chicken breasts and cut them up very finely. Dogs only get it at shows and it is a real treat.

And I had the pleasure of handling him to his RU In Group on the Friday. Lovely dog to handle. My little English Toy Terrier got Minor Puppy In Show on Sunday. Thrilled to bits with her. Lovely sunny weather here today. shame it is 3 days too late but non the less it was a fantastic weekend. Well done to the organizers.

We are moving from our current dairy farm of 200 acres to a more modest property of 52 acres. My father has just completed dog proofing 30 of these acres to contain our dogs. Cost with him supplying labour is about $10,000. I know this is a lot but to do it properly and effectively that is what it takes. Being farmers and knowing the rules regarding wandering dogs we did not want our dogs venturing onto other peoples properties. Good Neighbourhood relations in a new area for us I hope. It is just responsible pet ownership. My father has shot dogs that have worried or mauled our livestock in the past. He doesn't like to do it but it had to be done.

I forgot to mention a few companies in England for you to have a look at that we use. Chamleigh Rosettes www.chamleighrosettes.co.uk and www.tyrellarosettes.co.uk. We have bought from Hodges in the US but postage was a real killer unfortunately. We also buy from Computer sashes here for our sashes but find their rosettes way too expensive.

I love my rosettes. My mother buys a lot from England for equestrian shows. They are magnificient and extremely cheap for superior quality. Just add about $1 per rosette to cover postage. We would like to buy Australian, but they are double the price and we don't have the variety here.

Well a friend and I ventured up to your show on Sunday. It is the furtherest i have ever travelled and we did so because it was recommended as a lovely show. It turned out too be that and more. Lovely area of Victoria and the show was very pleasant and well run. Congratulations. I had a sucessful day with my young English Toy terrier who went Runner Up to Best in Group 1 and then Puppy in Group and then to add to all that he went Best Puppy in Show. As he is just over 6 months I was thrilled. Thank you Rebanne and your committee on a job well done.

A well socialised English Toy Terrier wou;ld be brilliant. Under 5 Kilos and dynamic. Many do agility in Europe and they are so enthusiastic. One out of this litter i have now is destined for a lovely agility home in NSW. There are a few videos on Flick, if you type in Toy Manchester Terrier that show some doing agility in the USA. -
Luckily mine flew in last Thursday to Melbourne. Visited on Monday and there were lots of empty kennels.
