Thanks guys, I will have a good look at it tonight and make sure that is what it is (which I would assume as that's her puppy eye test came back with 2 on one side and 1 on the other with the advice to wait and see if it caused a problem) Her original owners said it was not a problem before and I am close with her breeder so will give her a call tonight too Thank you for your advice, and will let you know if I need more help (if that's OK!!!)

Interested in this too as my girl has extra eyelashes and has had a bit of redness and weeping today, though first time we've seen it (we've had her 2 weeks) I suppose it can't be any worse than plucking our own eyebrows really

Excellent question, I say when they leave us!!!! They are always puppies But seriously I would like to know this too

I give Eddie icecream sometimes I think it's ok in moderation (he gets it maybe every month or so)

Why Doesn't Our Staffy Eat Dry Food?
shoemonster replied to Indy Girl's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
If it was me, I would persist with the raw food options and not dry food Eddie has never had dry food Can I ask was there a reason the vegies are cooked? They are better raw and put through a food processor so they are basically pulp -
Eddie has done it a few times, mainly on our doona and mainly when Cooper and Gully have been to play and the first day that Molly came to stay I think it's definately a territory thing, I hope they stop it though!!!

Help! Puppy Waking In The Night And Going Off His Head.

Doesn't explain the behaviour but he may not like being alone when he knows you are there If he was crated in the bedroom he may not feel alone I rave about crating!!! Drive everyone nuts! lol -
Help! Puppy Waking In The Night And Going Off His Head.
shoemonster replied to Natashja's topic in Puppy Chat
I tell everyone I know how wonderful crating is Makes things like this so much easier, and is not in anyway mean to them We have the crate in our bathroom attached to the bedroom, or in the actual bedroom depending if it's a hot night or a cold night (the bathrooms nice and cool on a hot night) Molly our new girl is 8 months and has never been crated but she has taken to it very quickly and Eddie was crated from 8 weeks old and we had no real problems (after the initial wanting to get up at 5am and play thing, but as he's gotten older he's out of that now) -
Awww so cute, I'd just let him chew the table if it keeps the little angel happy!!! lol Umm yeah citronella good, or bitter apple spray works for some

Definately obedience, you will be surprised how quickly they learn when you put the time in (and it doesn't really take that long either) And also take some time to train the kids to spend time with her when they teach her not to jump, putting hands in pockets works as they will normally try to nip and hands Ignore her when she jumps so that she learns that jumping doesn't get her attention, and pat her when she is still and on the ground, if she jumps again ignore her again We used it with Eddie and it works with us, we are now trying to get others to do it to (friends and family) He is 8 months We also have a new girl who is 8 months and she is very similar to your girl so we will be going through it too, the jumping and mouthing

Urine off or something similar will get rid of the smell so she won't smell it anymore There was something else that someone suggested a while back I can't remember, I think it was vinegar and peroxide (that's what i use to clean my rat cage and I think it's what they suggested)

Citrusy stuff, I think that's what most of the deterants are based on I know it's hard with pups, they love everything
-
Maybe something that smells yucky up there like those dog deterents? My cats are always on my puter desk but the dogs have never bothered to even try
-
I'm so sorry but this sounded so funny! How does she get up there? Can you keep her out of that room while you're not in there?
-
We have debates with nearly every vet we go to about Eddie's diet even though they have always just told us how healthy he is and how great his coat is It gets so that you feel like fibbing so they won't tell you that you're wrong
-
How awful for you and her I'm so sorry
-
lol yeah it was good!!! She is such a cutie too!!!
-
This makes me even more interested in it Now I just need to find out if it's allowed in the show ring!

First day class is at 11.30, get there about 11 to sign up and get everything sorted, my class is at 10.30 but I am taking my husbands dog in her class at 11.30 too so will be there the whole time! There is a gap in between and we usually hang around after class for a while too After that the puppy classes are at 10.30 every week I'll have Eddie and Kiya (husky x - big fluff ball) with me
-
Great I will look out for you on Sun!!!
-
lol at Nellybly I would have heaps of before pics as Eddie seems to always sleep upside down which is just cute and requires pics but unfortunately involves boy bits!!!

I posted about this a while ago in the show section and found that mst thought it would shink their package too much for showing and then in general but had no replies from anyone so will be interested to follow this thread I was thinking it could be a good alternative to desexing for showdogs but couldn't really find out if the drugs would be considered prohibited but did get told it would shink them too much to be effective fo rthe use I wanted
