  1. It really depends on the individual puppy on whether or not they are happy to be left Ed was on 2 meals at 8 weeks, and he was absolutely fine with being left by himself It it was someone who was going to work all day, come home, go out and party all night I would agree, but someone who will spend good time with their dogs at home I don't see the problem
  2. She's been sleeping in her crate all evening, after she was put there cos she wouldn't stop jumping on Eddie, they missed each other She's looking pretty good, is a bit unco cos of the drugs amd is booked in for a check up in 2 weeks
  3. Eddie was fine being home during our working hours from 8 weeks old I stayed home the first couple of days, then came home at luch for a couple of days but found it was more disruptive to him to come and go than to stay away the whole day I am away from the house for 9.5 hours including travel, which i would think was pretty normal for anyone working a full time job? ETA apart from normal stafford destructo behaviour as a baby, they are both fantastic during the day, I have a feeling they just sleep all day we do spend 99% of our nights and weekends with them trianing and playing and taking them everywhere
  4. One is 6 m and the other 10 m When they're on it i use the time to do sun fun recall training, so they never really get far enough away to jerk at the end, and you'll find eventually they'll get used to it anyway Molly still runs to the end alot, but she'll learn eventually, she's a bit of a bimbo When they are off lead, I constantly call them back to me, so they do little semi circles and find this works well, though it's taken time to get there
  5. They said it all went went, and all the lashes have been cut out (or the hair follicles anyway) Will be giving her a kiss from every member on DOL
  6. Well incase anyone was interested Molly is out of her op and vet said we can come pick her up after 3
  7. We only let our dogs off lead if there aren't other dogs there, if another dog turns up they go back on lead, unless I have a discussion with the other dog owner and intro them first Otherwise we have long lines so they can exercise and be "free" with control I know that they will more than likely be fine, but I don't want another dog having a go at them
  8. Thanks Stella Todays the day, she got dropped off this morning, won the nurses over with some loving and I ran away trying not to be a sook! Anyone who reads this today promise to cross your fingers for Mollykins
  9. Ewwwwww gross I will have to keep an eye out for it now so I can quickly peek and then run away ewwww
  10. I have never noticed Ed leaving deposits anywhere? Do they normally?
  11. Anyone take piccies??? Am looking forward to twilight on the 10th
  12. I hope so, everyone reading this has to cross their fingers on Friday for her, Ok?
  13. Why is it that as soon as I book her in she looks fine? She's still going though, I can see her lashes with my bare eye, she needs it done - I think I'm imagining her being better cos I don't want her in there
  14. Have just booked her in for Friday morning for the procedure Be prepared for me to be a stresshead all day that day! lol
  15. At least the op is pretty easy, and not much pain But I hate her having to go under
  16. We knew Molly still had extra lashes after her surgery in Apr (they grew back) but at the start they were growing outwards and not causing a problem Now it seems they have turned or new ones have grown so she'll have to go back in for surgery Poor love, I hope they go away this time
