  1. It's kind of what I do with Ed but I havent been clicking, I might take the clicker next time I've also just posted the nail clipping one in health http://forums.dogzonline.com.au/index.php?...c=94262&hl=
  2. Ohhh he is cute!!! Hope you figure out his allergies quickly
  3. Does he have to go back for a checkup affter his desexing, maybe you could ask then, if all his wormers are up to date, etc
  4. Yes I have lost my temper before, but I have learned from it I now stop, or change what I'm doing if I am getting frustrated
  5. Yep as Suz said I'm a member of 3 clubs I get lots of good stuff from each pf them, and I don't get as bored or irritated by any of them as I always have somewhere else to turn!
  6. I only just saw this I guess you would want to start with getting the dog to put his front feet up on a step or low table, or your arm, and then after he is happy with that part, lure his head down so he bows his head
  7. Thanks  It's such a weird feeling when the oldies go
  8. My Mushy (Marcia) girl died today at the ripe old age of 3 Thats a long life in ratty years, it wasn't a surprise but it was still sad She leaves behind 5 of my 3yr + oldies but she joins all my others at the bridge
  9. Oh and Molly jumping off a sand dune!
  10. Great vid ctd!!! Can't find videos, will have to do some but here are a few pics of Ed and his love of chasing the ball!
  11. Yeah I love that, he pushes its bum down and it just keeps coming up again
  12. Ohhhh!!! Ed is the same, he just dives in, straight into waves and everything, have to video him doing it Which beach do you go to?
  13. Cool, make sure you say hi to the looney with the 2 black staffords
  14. Oh thats funny I'd been thinking about using some type of fur thing for a reward as I know alot of staffords in the uk go nuts for a flirt pole with a fur end Ed seems to really love to run fast over the jumps too, maybe he likes to win too Just have to get that seconds motivation to get him to do the jumps once he picks up that ball! He's just mad on jumps, he loves to go fast over them!!! Throwing a ball works for him, so I can use that until I find something else
  15. Yeah we're working on a motivator for him, his biggest love is the ball, closely followed by food, going to have to work something out He tends to run and bark at me when I run the other way (which I do at training but our backyard isn't big enough I can't wait til we move house) Got lots more work to do on recall with stationary ball Recall is good from the box unless there's a ball involved bit of a problem!!!
  16. Thanks Yeah we've been using a pole, he seems to be really using the board to run along now which is great One of the instructors was talking about trying jumps in front of the box last week at training, it soulds like a good idea
  17. He really likes jumping, he hasn't missed a jump yet! He'd rather jump than run flat
  18. Eddie doing 1 hurdle and a turn Just starting out I now have a rubber mat for the board so he gets better traction Link in post below
  19. I've only done one obed class there, and it was a lower level, (it was a bad day when we got evaluated for classes lol, 40 deg and Ed had just done a flyball class so he wasn't very impressive ) but it was definitely more catered for the pet people Agility I don't think there is a certain requirement level, but the beg is pretty basic, from watching it I think possibly it may get more trial based in the higher levels, before the trial classes Roxy's mum is in one of the higher classes before trial classes, she could tell you whats in it The class I was in I had troubles with cos it was more socialisation based than I'm used to (coming from Southern), and I wasn't comfy with it
  20. It's all on their website if you want to check it out http://www.berwickodc.asn.au/ TRIAL CLASS RINGS Encouragement, Novice 2.45 - 3.45pm Rings Available 1.00pm
