  1. Ed used to get annoyed at me if I jumped around in front of him waving my hands in the air, so I used that to teach him speak lol

  4. No worries wyhldher Erny, Ed didnt have any escalation in behaviour, he was probably like SnT's and was a little quiet in that first week I defintely knew when it was wearing off though! Big changes
  5. Oh thats not bad then, much better to have them over enthusiastic about it
  6. Thanks guys They have learnt a informal leave, with food, I guess I'll just extend on that, and start with the boring food like TO said Then bring in a 3rd party once they are pretty solid I'd have to say I'm pretty glad neither of mine ever seemed to enjoy eating poo
  7. Thats why I was asking if it is normally on command to leave it, as if they only refuse after being told to leave it wouldnt cause that issue
  8. I just reread that sentence the right way and now understand lol, bit slow today Ahh cool, thanks Kristie
  9. I mean for trials Sway At dinner time they know they can't have their dinner so I guess this would be kind of an extension of it. Just having trouble imagining someone else offering them food and them not taking it! Do you mean they do gloves or speak instead of food?
  10. Am about to go to work, but just before I go wanted to ask what different methods you guys use for food refusal? And if the dogs that are taught food refusal are taught to refuse food no matter what, or if they are taught to refuse it only on a command and what the differences would be in teaching both? I started the "zen" style clicker refusal but interested in all experiences
  11. Oooh got to do this one too! LP Leo's so cute! I would get the same reaction if I blow in a face, I'd get a sloppy big kiss!
  12. Here is a quick one of Ed last night! As you can see I need to bring my hand signal up higher still Molly was off to the side doing a stay, which she broke as you can tell by listening to my OH lol Poor Molls thought I was releasing her, have to work on that
  13. Once I saw Ish do it I had to teach Ed too! We havent perfected it, but he will lay flat to a "bang" and gun hand signal now!
  14. I've been showing all weekend, but will get back into the trainign tomorrow after my legs start working again!
  15. Errr this thread is about the suprelorin implant which is a grain of rice sized implant like a microchip, not the "ball implants" which are actual surgery, I think you got the wrong thread
  16. No they arent allowed to pull! And they can't lag either, has to be by your side Man, it would be an easy 20km being pulled, I like that idea! lol
  17. Thanks The dogs seem pretty comfy as we increase it, and I'm not doing too bad, which has been the biggest surprise!
  18. Molly used to do this to us, we just completely ignore her, dont talk nothign, go into a different room, etc Now they are really good when we get home
  19. Sat went to swimming, at the doggy pool! Sunday normal obed training and vegging (and Ed did a CCD run through which would have def been a pass) Mon 3.7km on grass and pavement mixed up Last night 4.6km on grass pavement and a gravelly sandy bike track The dogs paws are looking and feeling fine, and they are way fitter than I am! But I'm proud of myself for giving this a go, as I can be very very lazy lol
  20. Ed does this when he's excited, I block his nose and it stops it straight away
  21. Yeah I would keep trying it like that I was also thinking could you smear something on the biscuit short term just to make it more interesting, and then gradually put less on it once she is taking it?
