  1. Does she seem to limp after she's been resting? Is it front or back leg?
  2. Just a quick question about the command refusal You are meaning command refusal as in, "I tell my dog to sit, someone else tells it to drop and it stays sitting as thats what I've told it to do", as opposed to "someone else takes my dog tells it to sit and it refuses to do it as it wasnt me that told the dog to do it"??? Just wanted clarification on that
  3. Molly is 2 1/2 and she still loves nothing more than stealing a pot plant, pulling the plant out and dumping it and destroying the pot ;)
  4. I am still laughing at the mental pic of him rolling on his back A few weeks ago we were doing change of position in class and OH had Molly, and both times he did it in front of the whole class she dropped then rolled over
  5. Oh no! Well done for giving it a go though, at least the first one is done now!
  6. Kowai, how did you go? BC, well done! Gamby, better luck next time!
  7. Well done!!!! Will come to watch at Ballan, cant wait to see the girls run again! I say this all the time but god I love Best friends retreat!
  8. Yeah that was a great show, I laughed watching them teach the dogs, and that blood hound was fantastic! I missed the guard dog section, bugger
  9. Yeah be patient and ignore the behaviour you dont want, if she gives you her paw dont take it, just ignore it completely She will realise that its not a paw and sit that you want and will hopefully then follow where you want her to go
  10. Are you using food? Most staffords will do anything for food! Does she chase the ball and not bring it back, or does she have no interest in chasing it at all? If she will pick up the ball, try trading her for a piece of food, she should get the idea that picking up the ball means a treat. If you are using treats for training, also make sure that you adjust her normal meals to account for it, so she doesnt put on weight, you dont want her to pork up at that age (or any age really) With the drop, try luring her down with a piece of food, til she gets the idea, and then once she will drop, extend her stays out, treat her for short periods and gradually build up the time It's never too late to try something new with her Hope this helps
  11. I bought some from our Ritchies supermarket the other day
  12. Poor Kaos, better to get her to vets, UTI's are icky
  13. Oh yeah good point Erny, I normally give them one chance to go to the loo after sooking and after that I ignore it
  14. Yeah I'd put the bed in the crate in your bedroom and go from there Biggest thing when you have her in there with the door shut is not to let her out if she is sooking, only let her out if she's quiet
  15. OHHHHHH it looks awesome!!! I love it, and he is such a good model! Fits well too, good measuring!
  16. Yeah puppy classes are the most fun, just dont worry too much if your pup is naughty, alot of people worry so much that their pup is naughty that they miss out of listening to the classes lol Have a great time
  17. They should be fairly adjustable We got Ed's a little big for him when he was around 3-4 months old and it fits him still now he's fully grown, on its biggest adjustment, with an extra bit of velcro at the front
  18. Yep we use them for swimming there are fantastic They dont need to carry the whole weight of the dog, its more just so that their bums dont sink, as alot of boofier breeds have trouble keeping their bum up while swimming!
  19. I agree with BF, I found Ed's stays improved heaps when I introduced a "free" at the end
