  12. No worries, the paw paws great for heaps of things, rashes, cuts, dry skin on doggies and people, its also great lip balm!
  13. Lucas' Paw paw ointment from the supermarket or chemist works great

  15. Ah the joys of recalling a set of balls! its ok before they realise they have balls! I found Ed got easier a few weeks into the implant, and yeah could defiantely tell when it wore off. He had a break off it, was used to sire a litter then I put him back on it. It really didnt do much the second time and I've let it wear off this time, been about 12 months now, wont be doing it again, he's easy to work with now and now I know what I want to do and where i want to go with him, I will desex him
  16. Ebon doesnt need it thrown, he just has to look at it to get excited I did have a laugh when I saw the frisbee donut last week!
  17. They would have trouble if they went to a flyball comp wouldnt they, nearly every person would be in trouble
  18. Oooh learn something new every day! I will have to do that with Molls, she got her AFCh 2 weeks ago, she'll be dual CH too
  19. Oh wow I didnt realise ACT flyball titles are ANKC, our Vic ones arent Congratualtions though, well done!
  20. There are a few things you can do at home to get them ready, and a good recall is a must If you're in Mornington then your closest clubs will be Hastings and Frankston, and there is also Berwick which is a little bit further. They all have teams that compete at the moment The things you can do at home are to teach them to retrieve a stationery ball, as sometimes dogs who like to chase balls wont want to fetch the ball when its not moving, also get them onto a motivator, like a tug toy, so they will run fast to get to the ball, and just as fast to bring the ball back to you You can also check which way your dog turns, by holding them, rolling a ball out and sending it to them, to see which way they turn, do it maybe 5 times and you should see a clear left or right. This shows you which side the ball should go in the box (dogs are right and left handed)
  21. Awww you always get a Mollmoll pic for me! Well done Elvis on the onyx, thats awesome!
  22. The last couple of flyball comps Molly has been running perfect! So proud of her, she is really starting to be a solid dog and on Sat she got the points for her AFCH
  23. So tired! What a long weekend, but it was a great one though Div 1 won by Weiners Div 2 won by Berwick Div 4 won by Berwick (Mollys team!) We broke out twice, the dogs just worked like magic, and we seemed to get it all right (apart from a fair few early starts by me - oops)! plus we had a great captain whose 1st timer dog also ran in her first races, and did a great job!!!! Too brain dead to remember the other results
