  1. Ive used it twice, and in between he sired a litter, so it definately does reverse. The first one he had at around 9 months, the second at nearly 2 years Ed has a fair amount of shrinkage and it stopped alot of the marking etc, he never humped so that wasnt an issue. Its quite clear to me, and also to closer friends when it was wearing off as we could see the change in him, being more stubborn, and the massive increase in marking i was planning on getting him desexed surgically, but after emergancy surgery earlier in the year he had a few seizures and they arent quite sure if it was a reaction to the anaesthetic so at this point Im trying to decide whether to keep him entire for a bit longer, or to implant him for a while til I can figure out what to do As far as the vets Ive spoken to have told me there isnt really a problem with using it continuously, but better not to implant. let it wear off, implant again, so I want to figure it out before I do it again
  2. Awesome awesome work! You must be so thrilled! And I agree, I hope someone taped it, would love love love to see it!
  3. Excellent! It makes the transition to the real box really easy too, and they already know where the ball should be This was pretty early on, no rubber matt, and he was slipping a bit so I added the door matt later, The pole helps too to get them turning Shows you can train even in the smallest backyards!
  4. ah bugger! Still cute though, just with a pointy nose!
  5. I used a piece of wood about the same size as the front of the box, and stood it up against the fence, with a rubber matt on it, and when I started ball work on it, I got a piece of velcro and attached that to the matt, and the tennis ball sticks to the velcro
  6. Puppy????? More details on that part please! Which breed?
  7. Just had a go with one of OH's toy cars I did a folio on this once at uni, and I did all my friends hotrods with a torch down at Frankston Pier, would love to post them but their are all on med format slides Heres my effort tonight Roxy, I love the ones with your kids, they look so innocent, but kinda Bill Hensony light wise Really like some of them that have the words/drawings written with the torches too, very cool, like light graffiti
  8. Some dogs will throw up bits of bone, others will die from obstructions, at a guess I would say that is the fear. I know it is with me, especially since I know that my dogs do not chew
  9. I know how you feel, I fed my boy brisket when he was a pup (which at the time I had been told was fine) and he spent the night throwing up little pieces, took me years to be game to give him a bone again and I gave him a big leg bone, cos I figured that would be safe, he chomped off a big piece off the knobly bit of the end and threw that up in the middle of the night Now I only give whole carcasses, as they have to chew them up pretty well to be able to swallow them, the bones get crushed up and cos the skin holds it all together they cant swallow til it is crushed. I dont give necks or wings, as they chomp once then swallow (Or just swallow and dont chew at all) My boy could be the last dog in the universe with a mountain of bones in front of him and he would still gulp and inhale his food
  10. Yep as Tess said that percentage is a avg guide, you need to adj how much they get to suit the individual dog. You will also find different times of year and different week to week activities will change their requirements, but that goes with any feeding not just barf, I also rarely ever measure how much they get, I just give a little more if they are looking leaner or a little less if they have put on from where I want them to be (but with staffords you see every bit of gain/loss as their coats are so short and tight) I wouldnt reccomend going fattier just yet, I would try increasing the amount first, increasing fat with some dogs can make them sick
  11. Once I lost a wubba at the dam at KCC, and months later I was walking around the other side of the dam, and the water level was really low, and what do I find but a dried up crusty wubba with stafford chew marks in it Was so weird! Glad you found it Erny
  12. Have posted this before but this is my girl a while ago, I cant walk on the treadmill without her joining me either!
  13. Springdog well done! Thats excellent Well i should put my brag in, I finally entered Ed in Novice at the Gippsland trials, and we got our first 2 passes on the Sat with 2nd in ring both trials (only 2 passes in each ring too) Bombed out Sun and Mon morn and we pulled out Mon arvo, we were both a bit over it by that stage, and if I'm gonna get this last pass I wanna do it with full enthusiasm! Had some lovely comments about him though, so his heads even bigger now (who woulda thought that possible!) ETA Just saw Cosmolos brag too, awesome work! Love to see them prancing!
  14. Can you do both clubs? Obed at one and agility at the other I belong to 2 clubs for different things and it works well
  15. Just an update, been using this for 3 flyball sessions, now have a dog who is single striding on the way back as well as the way down, and who is flying through the air to grab her tug and reaching the end of the ring rather than slowing to sit and get her treat Have also done a order on clean run for more, just incase, cant lose my magic tug (and of course had to buy other stuff too Though 3 full on tug session and no sign of wear, which is excellent, and I wash it in detergant in between uses so it doesnt get too icky from the mushed up wings
  16. I'm so so so sorry I always loved watching him when he flyballed, one of the real stand outs, and he had a good life, dont be too hard on yourselves, you did more than many would have
  17. Awesome work Ziggy! Whens the next trial? Awesome work to everyone! But Ziggy I know in person!
