LOL.. sort of felt the same way about when my friend said she would copy the use of my flowers from my HTM "We'll Meet Again" routine. I am so stuck for music this time as we are now in intermediate for both HTM and Freestyle. Tux is turining 12 in three weeks time and I am trying to be considerate of him. The other songs that I was looking at for Freestyle.. A Friend Like Me from Aladdin, Colour of the Wind and a couple of others. HTM, Let's go fly a kite, A few of my favourite things (sound of music) but as previously stated the costume worries me for this one.. That is good news that Kenz is improving and four weeks will fly by sooner than you think. :)

Hi All, Well here it is.. For everything that is DWD related. Please post all brags,and any thing that is related to this sport here. CleoJ, can you please post the link for the BMP link that you had put on before? I am looking at doing A few of my favourite things from Sound of Music, but definately having problems working out what to wear as I don't want to wear a dress, any ideas to get around this problem? Tassie, what are you up to in DWD now? Ness, how is your girl going now? Also I was thinking about pinching your Chim Chimney, but am trying to keep the props down as I have to travel with a friend who doesn't have much room in her car for props. The other song might be Lets go fly a kite..

thanks Ness. Heard that Melbourne Royal is having the DWD comp again and I will be away for a month before hand. Just thought that it would save me time to have a routine already in place as I don't think that I would be ready in time for the next level if we passed in August. That is also if Tux is still going strong and is still enjoying himself. Got to laugh though as I planned my hols around the DWD comps.

Will start a new thread when I work out how to put the right title on.. So would Dancing With Dogs Freestyle and H.T.M, Ideas, Brags and Music be ok for everyone? Or do you have any suggestions? Also how bad would it be to use the same music for two levels? Meaning if you have music cut for say Intermediate, could you use that same peice of music for Advance? And costumes, if you was doing say The Sound of Music what would you wear?

Huge Congrats Xena98 and Gabby on gaining your UDX pass so happy for you as they are as rare as hens teeth. Looking forward to hearing the champange cork popping when she finally gets that last pass :) Nothing happening here for Tux and myself as we haven't done any UDX practise for a long time.

Ok a question, Firstly, would love to change the topic now to DWD freestyle and HTM brags, ideas and other stuff, can it be done? Or would start a brand new topic thread be better? Definately got my freestyle music which is a great start, but am having trouble yet once more to find the right music for my next level of HTM. Why is it so hard? Does any one have any DWD brags to put here, or suggestions?

What does the schedule say exactly? Or is it a morning obedience trial and a Rally O trial in the afternoon? And if that is the case, is there two Rally O (a & b) trials happening in the morning/afternoon? What other classes are being offered at this trial?

Yes it was the tears in the eyes one.. got them crying in the aisle again and even the judges was teary too. For those who might be interested our HTM routine was done to We will meet again and the artist was Andre Rieu and his band. Our Freestyle was John Farnham's Chain Reaction :) We did lose a point from two of the judges for Tux's vocalising that he was having a wow of a time. But I am willing to wear those points to see him work so happy :) And yes Meg's Mum and Dad was ever so pleased with Meg's new title :) And her music was The Little Drummer Boy Artist, The Red Hot Chilli Pipers Congrats I love it when people perform to strong emotional music. It gets people's attention because it's different. Thanks :)

Especially the look of wonder on your face as you slowly came to realise that Tix had done it. :laugh: How I wish I'd been there to see it - and to see you and the gorgeous Gambit. Thanks Gamby, as you know Tux is no spring chicken in age (will be 12 in June), but you wouldn't of thought that the way he was bouncing around in freestlye. I have a brag to add in here as we gained not only our freestyle novice title but also gained first place twice in HTM novice with Tux. And drum roll please cause Meg gained her Freestyle starters title today. I am so proud of Meg and Tux. I would also like to thank DWDCofVic for a lovely trial today.

Ditto re chicken necks, but I use semi raw steak. The bloody pockets tell the story, slimey on inside and out. Lmao thats so making me want to go back to pockets NOT :laugh: The first thing that I tell my friends is to get rid of bum bags. Then they come back with food in plastic bags, and yes Tassie, I tell them to get rid of the plastic bag, too noisy. I did try a plastic cup in my pocket, but kept hitting with my hand. So pockets it is. And Ness I even grow a tail from time time, so have I made it as a trainer?

Question for you? How are you teaching her? Do you have a treat/target/toy in the presribed area? I use the same hand and signal for both sendaway and DR. The seekback I use a slightly different signal. Is there someone that you can ask to watch you that already does UD???
