Thanks for the congrats.. Sorry that is has taken me this long to reply. So very proud of Piper as she isn't 2 yet. And with Splash I listened to her as she didn't like Abba.s Money Money Money even though we got two passes and people said she looked good she was giving me the paw in the ring cause she made me work every step of the way.. So I went back to her starters music by adding the required time to it and wow she was one happy little girl.. See Splash loves to heel backwards and a few other things that wasn't in the abba routine. And she told me to stick it.. Already working on ideas for a new routine and she is loving the ideas so far. Got to listen to this girl otherwise the paw comes out Cheers -

you are right Tassie, no videos or photos this time round. The last time they had a person that did it for her portfolio and you was able to buy them. So a little bit disappointed cause it was my baby girls first time ever competing in the ring, but that is life. It was great to catch up though and while I didnt get to see all your routines, the ones that I did, they was excellent. OT I think that I have my next lot of music sorted out for Miss Feral I'm away with the pixies right now so you can dance by yourself. I have a funny feeling she doesnt like Abba roflol.. Sas, can you get to a workshop? TSD when are we going to see your spots in the dwd ring? -

Well both Tassie and I have some brags to announce after Saturdays DWD comp here. I gained two HTM novice passes with my girl Splash, but the even bigger thrill was gaining a HTM starters pass with my young Goldie girls Piper, I was so nervous going into the ring cause she LOVES people some times too much and lets face it, there is plenty of people around at dwd comps.. She was a trouper and blew me away by staying with me the whole time. Mind you, I did grab her as soon as we had finished just in case .. The other news that there was two competitors who gained CHAMPIONSHIPS too.. TWO HTM CH. and one Freestyle CH. Tassie will confirm this I hope.. Now it's your turn to brag Tassie.. and it was great to see you too -

thanks PME for the good luck wishes.. I think that I will need it. Splash doesnt like high wind or noise at all. And a dear friend of mine reminded me today about the bird feathers that will now be blowing around on the ground for extra distraction. Tassie, I hope that you arrived safely here. See you tomorrow -

Yeap sure do.. especially when you have very limited time to "fix" things.. not sure whether to pull the pin or just go with the flow on the day. Honestly she can be really hard work at times cause she's not Miss Realiable like Tux was.. as she likes to go off with the pixies at times. Where are you staying over here? It's a girl thing I think  . I was trying to do a bit with mine this afternoon before I ran out of light, and Kirra was right OTT .. backchatting, throwing behaviours and herself at me ... . Rory was doing better, though still needs quite a lot of polishing. I've booked a dog friendly cottage at Gisborne South.... about half an hour from Bulla I think. Really looking. Forward to catching up. :) Really looking forward to catching up. I think that Kirra and Splash was talking long distance to each other on how can we keep our Mums on their toes. No practice for us due to me not being well cause my head wasnt being nice to me. Havent been at work most of the week either. Enjoy the cottage and dont forget pack your woolies for the night time. Not long to go now.. -

Just a thought, have you tried to just do two reverse weaves and then click/bridge and treat? Then slowly build up on that. Remember that the reverse leg weaves are harder to do than forward leg weaves. (Oh by the way you are saying that you are stepping backwards and she is still going forwards through your legs?) No...she is going backwards, between my legs, back & forth between LS & RS heels, but as a team we are not going backwards. I am just stepping back with my off side leg then bringing my feet together after she has passed through & vice versa, so we are sort of doing it on the spot. I am mixing it up, sometimes c & t for one pass, sometimes 2 passes & sometimes 3 passes. But as I said I have now put the clicker down since teaching that "back pass to heel" is what I want & just randomly treating. When I say, bring her forward after the pass, I mean just bringing her head forward a bit so that she is back in heel position before I treat. Otherwise she swings he bum out to the side. Ok :) -

That is great news Sheena. Got to love it when they put their own spin on things. I also know what you mean about having to move quicker, my youngest dwd member can really move if she wants to, pity her dancing partner is slowing down a tad. Tassie, have you booked your accommodation for the June Vic dwd comp yet? -

Do it Tassie, would love to catch up with you and see your kids dance again.. I might even get my butt into gear and get my routine happening, if you come over. And yes it would be so worth your while to come, double dwd comp and then obedience and rally the next day at Broady. Seriously thinking about it, kallistar. I'll see how the kittens go with their first weekend on the cattery this coming weekend. Don't want to impose too much on my lovely neighbour's kindness in kitten sitting. We'll have to egg each other on to get it happening :D . It would be lovely to catch up with you again. Just do it.. I am sure that their breeder if you ask nicely would look after them for you too.. My routine has a sort of a start.. and def got a finish.. but the middle bit... well that might be a surprise.. and the the other thing is can the dog grow enough coat so she doesn't get embarrassed by the strange hair cut that she recently. -

kallistar, you take such a genuine interest in others and I just wanted to say I think it's lovely. You always have words of encouragement and support and come across as a very generous person :) x Yes thank you so much for asking. She's doing OK, still hurting but she will be OK. There will be more comps and we will get there :) I am glad that Schatzi is ok, even though she is still hurting. And yes I know that you will get there :) -
