Pink Staining On White Dogs Caused By Licking
glorybea replied to BC's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
I have 2 malt/shuhz one licks , the licking occurs after grass walking and it has now got into a habit I get relief for her by soaking her feet in LECTRIC WASHIG SODA it has an anti fungal ingrient as well I use 1/2 tsp to 1 litre stops itches and also seems to fade the pink at the same time . hope it helps others . Hi PTOLOMY , SHE IS 3 I/2YRS . she was good until a trial at Hasting there was a sheltie 2 dogs down which whined through the sit stay and stressed her and she came 1/2 across the ring ,the same in the down but that time she crossed fully to me .I went to another trial and the same thing happened BUT unfortunatly because I knew there was people on a title pass when she crossed the ring I bent down and held on to her I now know that I gave her the signal that it was alright to come . It has taken me 6mths to get her out of that we have now got her 2passes one after the other But the last 4 trials she has started again Bugger !!!! Cheers Glorybea

Hi Yes I am a caring person for my dog and she is under a vet and is tested AND is on a special diet which has enabled me to keep her kidneys at the same level that they were 18mths ago , she is tested every 8 - 10 weeks by the vet .No I don't have a degree as a vet but what I do have is a will to give her every bit of comfort that she can get and excluding cortizone if possible thanks for your concern cheers Glorybea

Our Maltese Is A Little Miss!
glorybea replied to Petal's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
HI just to tell you mine is a female but I wouldn't call her a MISS I would call her a " SHIT" just to prove they aren't all perfect LOL Glorybea -
Thanks for all your input it sounds --I have tried a lot of the things you all have suggested Aloe vera ,different shampoos, changing diet using cortzone cream zinc tablets fish oil. she gets a temp before it starts . I have been refered and have sent a hair sample to have it analyzed for food and they tend to think it could be toxins in the liver and cleansing and tonic is the answer ?? I really am grateful for your observations and promise an update to follow as it is so valuble to others to know out comes -I habve set her sample prioity post hoping to speed answer up . Espesially FIRST TIME PUPPY OWNER who wrote above my reply thats how Bindii's started so beware . cheers Glorybea

Hi sorry I am in Melbourne

Hi I will answer as much as possible , it is not fleas my vet does NOT want her on cortzone and is happy for natural medicine . Bindii doesn't not eat dry food at all I prepare her food , vegies chicken ox heart ,fruit . I have her on camomile at the moment and it has helped especially with the itches .I am at my wits end to help my little one .Bindii has the begining of renal failure which I have held at bay so to speak for the last 18mths and cortzone is the last thing she needs . Hello I am looking into a treatment for ONGOING rash on my dog cortzone which I done want to use has helped but only a short term . it is not mange -- possible airborne virus reocurrs at intervals causes he hair to thin an a rash on her bottom similar to a graze when you fall over ,which is what starts it it is only on hind quarters . my main question is has anyone had anything to do with Robert McDowell herbal treatments as he is suggesting a BLOOD CLEANSER 100mls dose 10 drops daily @ $56 Your coments would be valued thanks Gloryba

Hi I have a malt/shutz who is on cartrophen it has done marvels for her ,she had the 4 needles and then one every 6mths which I always make sure one is before the cold in the ground gets to her and there is no limping at all she has an enlarged bone in one leg because one bone has grown qiucker than the other . I do give her glucosamine complex and Shasa blend and also fish oil tablets . when she started on tablets I took her to an indoor swimming pool for excises as well she is now 3 1/2 yrs I do keep a look out on her weight as well . good luck on your progress Glorybea
