we did it at westernport got our 2nd pass 2nd place with 184 then almost at Moorabbin but found a smell on the recall runnning 100 miles an hr but still picked up the scent slowed sniffed though oH! drop came on recall command BUT when I said finish she said "what was that smell" instead of return to heel she went back and had a sniff ---blew 194 score BUGGER SO WE ARE AWAITING NEXT TRIAL maybe GLORYBEA

Hi I too look for different ideas now as the hot weather is approaching and fresh isn't always sensably and at Westernport trail there was a stall run by T&K DOYLE www.dogtreatsaustralia.com they had a variety of dry flavoured ie; tuna , lamb. beef etc; my dogs loved it anyone else tried ? Hi all I MAKE MY OWN TUNA BALLS I use the left over crumbs in the bottom of my weetbix pkt breadcrumbs can tuna in oil 2 eggs mix shape into balls and freeze I take out of freezer approx 20mins before training but if I am training away from home I put in a small freeze lunch box with ice brick and they and just right to train ---but you need to make them big to make them stay semi frozen I make them size 10c piece for small dog and break as to size wanted. they love them get great results -but don't use everytime so they remain a treat hope that helps someone ---Glorybea

Hi all its seems years since I was able to post on this topic as to Rani's achievments hang it was bloody hell we have been breaking her stays in fact we --- are you ready -- she failed 10/12 stays last season in open ,wait there is more she did her stays at Berwick got first place and a pass YAHOO !! well done to all the others I have read about your succes lets hope its the best year yet cheers Glorybea

hi i just started doing it as play inside , hide it anywhere --find under cushions behind doors just as hide and seek always rewards now does seek back great . we had no problems with -that mine is jumping had to teach her to run and jump Glorybea

my vet told me not to use it as it can make it worse because it dries the skin but I do know of someone it helped with her Sheltie

my little one was losing hair and it was thought cushing or thyroid first was thyroid = clear cushings was not done at that time - but it ended up being an atopic virus thank God so those test are separate good luck with yours Glorybea

Hi all I have 2 malt/shuh and they were not happy with metal and I put a piece of elastoplast [ NOT BANDAID] covering about 15cms in the middle played fetch games and slowly reduced the elastoplast until nothing there . hope that helps someone --there is always an answer isn't there -always something new to try Glorybea HAPPY NEW YEAR

Erny Iforgot to tell you when she breaks her OSS she only come forward 1/2 metre and sit /drops never leaves ring or goes further seems to registar she must stay Glorybea

Hi Erny, her comfort zone is inconsistant mostly will let me walk 2 steps then follows ,lately I have got a occasionally sit OSS but the drop "always" follows. It has started to come out in drop on recall when I leave . Glorybea

Hi Erny. Rani has her Novice Title I am not going to say I have tried this and that in a negative way I am open to all suggestions I have tried several suggestions will state them so you can see where we are coming and going so to speak tried going short distances - returning- feed -leave say stay take -couple steps - look back re enforce command -which has helped patting using soothing talk before leaving again on return at the end of stays she aways gets a terrific treat drumstick/neck I am sure it is just separating anxiety which I think the fact we where in a training stay {IN NOVICE] when a Dalmation jumped over her towards a G/S and I had to grab her now I leave her alone in a stay ?? so why wouldn't she be anxious !! thank you for replying I appriecate your help Glorybea I don't remember if I told you she is a Malt /shuh

thanks poodlefan your VERY right she definitely is not a natural jumper ,I am not sure if I have this right but are you saying place a bar on the ground the distance of the height ???
