  1. We use sentinel spectrum, but Advantix rather than Frontline, as it appears to be more effective. We purchase from http://www.pricelesspets.com.au/
  2. This list gives you contacts for all of QLD: http://www.dogs4sale.com.au/Clubs_Organisations_Qld.htm
  3. I purchased a Canon 400D from here last Sept, at the time they were the cheapest online, very helpful, Gold Coast based. https://www.camerasdirect.com.au/index.php/...-400d-body.html
  4. Kikuyu. http://www.lilydaleinstantlawn.com.au/lawns.php?id=4 http://www.associatedturf.com.au/kikuyu.htm
  5. Cobblers Pegs? http://www.pittwater.nsw.gov.au/environmen...bs/cobblers_peg If they are then clipping wont help as they stick to our skin as well
  6. Try: http://www.vetproductsdirect.com.au/vetprods/index.asp
  7. When I started as a mobile groomer in NZ in 2000 I called numerous grooming parlours to find out what their charges were and it was between $30-$35 per hour, the same applied here when I arrived in 2005. Remember to take into account what it costs you to stock shampoos etc, the cost of having blades sharpened, electricity, rates etc
  8. Nutro and Ziwipeak. Unfortunately due to AQIS import restrictions some of Nutro's range such as Ultra and Holistic are unavailable here.
  9. We feed Nutro Natural Choice as the basis of their diet, they make both a senior and a light, together with Ziwipeak. Then sardines in oil and chicken wings.
  10. Name: Maddie Sex: Bitch DOB: 17/09/07 Breed: Shetland Sheepdog Colour: Black and White Hobbies, Loves, Hates: Not sure she came home yesterday
  11. ;) A good comb as Cowanbree has suggested, together with a bath and a blow dry should help control the coat. If you are worried about shelties feeling the heat, then remember we came over from NZ May 2005, ours have been now in 38C, but inside with the a/c on
  12. Norskgra as suggested by Sheridan, Ziwipeak. It is expensive but you feed a lot less than even a super premium
  13. Yes three, they were ex show dogs, the owner had died and her hubby never groomed them, they were badly matted. As with any double/triple coated breeds the coat comes back thicker. It doesnt detract from the fact that these breeds (Chows, Newfs, Collies, Shelties, Borders etc) should be regularly groomed year round. Try and convince her that the coat acts as a natural insulator for both heat and cold, and that she should have the dog groomed regularly with the correct combs, a bath and a blow dry which will help blow out the coat.
  14. Presumaly they dont have time/cant be bothered to give the dog a good brush.
  15. We feed Nutro Natural Choice a Super Premium Kibble, which forms the basis of their diet and Ziwipeak which doesnt actually come as a kibble but has a texture similar to schmackos. Ziwipeak also comes in cans.
  16. It could be a number of things, grasses, wandering jew?, or a bacterial infection?. If the former then Aloveen Oatmeal Conditioner may help.
  17. I was told recently via an OES breeder that a mixture of bayrum and oil helps with coat re-growth.
  18. tramissa there is NO secret surrounding our website, all was revealed some months ago, we have nothing to hide and we are more than happy to be sponsors on DOL. FYI we spend more on our DOL sponsorship, sponsoring dog shows and our advertising on the CCCQ website than we sell Nutro CIE LA VIE. God loves a trier
  19. http://www.naturalpetfoodsaustralia.com/ for Nutro and Ziwipeak
  20. Cassie, am so very sorry to hear that you lost Oakley at such an early age. R.I.P. young man
  21. Ziwipeak make all natural treats, information here: http://www.naturalpetfoodsaustralia.com/. We feed sardines in oil once a week.
  22. Cant open the link, think you will find that it has been shortlisted ;)
  23. When considering a dog food have a really good look at the ingredients list. e.g. one of the Beneful products contains beef; wheat and/or corn. Many dogs are celiac, as we are, i.e. have an intolerance to wheat. Also look for artifical colours and chemical preservatives.
  24. dedogman, we dont feed either Eukanuba or Royal Canin, but if we were to choose between the two it would be R.C., no way would we feed Hills Science Diet. Have a look at the first three ingredients of Hills Active and compare that to say Nutro Natural Choice Adult Performance (which we feed).
