  1. Confirmed today, four possibly more, with an order in for bi-blacks. Nedsur, sorry to hear your sad news.
  2. Odin would like to thank you for your comments.
  3. We avoid supermarket foods, either as dry or in meat rolls. Have a look at the ingredients and guaranteed analysis. Personally I would stick with making your own patties.
  4. Sorry, TB, am worse than useless at names, may have to bug you in June
  5. Thanks The black face is hard to get used to, but he grows on you. He hasn't changed much from this photo taken at 7 weeks, hence he is known as The Clown.
  6. Can't update the previous thread re our litter as haven't posted for some time Odin taken today at 19 months, he is also known as The Clown Not happy with the photos taken of Bree. We are hoping she will be having a litter mid June
  7. As Sagittarian has mentioned Ziwipeak does not make a kibble, for want of a better description it is similar in consistency to Schmackos. For one 4kg dog it would not be too expensive, but we have 6 shelties Austerra, ALL the Ziwipeak range is available in Australia, the importers are Prestige Pet Products in Caboolture, QLD. We have fed, and continue to feed Ziwipeak, albeit in limited quantities and feed Nutro on a 1/3rd 2/3rds basis with a home-made diet. Info on Ziwipeak can be found at: http://www.ziwipeak.com/nzl/home.shtml
  8. There is little comparison between Ziwipeak and the other two. Ziwipeak is a meat only product and has no grains. It is more expensive than the other products. We have fed the dry, treats and canned to our dogs.
  9. What type of mince are you using?. e.g premium beef/regular, there is a difference in the fat content. Ours are fed a diet of 1/3rd Nutro, which we have fed for many years, to 2/3rds home-made. Our home made consists of minced chicken frames to which we add pasta, V8 vegetable juice (we buy the Woolies brand), Natural yoghurt, Apple cider vinegar and garlic. We used to add linseed and feed sardines x twice weekly but now they have a daily capsule of salmon oil.
  10. Pollywaffle, more than likely by direct deposit or cheque.
  11. Go Suthenskys, 6 homebred Ch and another two on the way.
  12. 252 so far , let's try to get this up to 300 by 15 May.
  13. Congratulations to all the winners/placegetters at the annual Victorian Sheltie Championship Show. QLD had their annual Champ. show on the same day. Is Whispher's new owner, Jennifer Kirk, of Falkirk, near Hamilton N.Z.?
  14. Guess what, we have had an order for 100 books, PLEASE EVERYONE come on board, put your orders in, and make this cookbook happen to be one of the best ever fundraising events.
  15. Whether or not the sheltie is a showdog is neither here nor there, they should not be clipped. The coat acts as an insulator for both heat and cold. If however the coat is very badly matted it may have to be clipped. Would suggest that the owner find a professional groomer. DO NOT wet the coat when matted as it will cause the matts to tighten up. We use a Plush Puppy shamppo for our dogs, pet and show.
  16. Thank you very much to all those who have put their names forward for pre-purchasing the cookbook, and to those who have offered their time and "services", it is very much appreciated. ;) The recipes have been collated and the draft sent for proof reading. Potential advertisers have been/are being contacted. Once the book is ready to go to the printers I will PM those who have expressed their interest with details as to how payment can be made. Hopefully the last week of May
  17. No the order has not been placed yet, we are working on collating, formatting etc getting ready for printing. We will close off final numbers for the first print run on Sunday 09 May.
  18. Thanks, BF001. Hope the cookbook will help your credibility issues
