TS, unfortunately I think you set a precedent by getting up to them in the middle of the night when they were younger. Ours have their last run at around 4.00pm, dinner at 6.00om and then don't wake up until just after 5.30am. Hoping for some help with a stack photo shoot this afternoon. PS We too are fed up with paper and pooh!!

Our litter are 7 weeks today, Bree hasn't fed them since they were 5 weeks old. We have had an excavator working next door and yesterday it was on the fenceline. They were all outside and Bree went over and let them feed, guess it was a comfort for them with the noise. Ours sleep through until approx. 5.40am

Wow, CRQ, it must have been either the store in question or a bad batch. We have been feeding our pups (7 weeks tomorrow) on approx x2 tablespoons x3 times daily of a mixture we make up of minced chicken frames from Lenards with other "goodies" and Nutro puppy food and have had no issues. If there was a problem with the frames it would upset the pups before the adults who are fed the same diet (bar the puppy food).

Great set up Mercedes, you forgot they are Labs who like water. If that had been a sheltie they would have run for cover :nahnah: Ours are still in the living room and were out three times today, last was a run for nearly an hour, needless to say they are sound asleep now. Tried bringing them inside earlier but they run like heck when they think they are going to be picked up.

Damp here overnight but looks as if it may clear enough for a quick play.

Being retired we too are at home most of the day, save the odd hour here and there, but we make sure that we are not out for more than 3 hours because of feeding. When we are out the pups are in their pen and the adults are locked in the house with them.

Ours do not spend most of the day away from Mum. She stopped feeding them at approx. 5 weeks so we have taken over and are feeding them. Ours are all inside in their playpen and Mum plus the other adults (x5) can walk around the pen. Depending on the weather they are taken outside three times a day for a run and play with Mum and their rellies who are teaching them their social doggy skills. We have people here every Sunday for herding training and since last weekend when they turned 5 weeks old we have asked several of our friends to come into the house yard and interact with the pups so that get the human socialisation as well.

Lovely piccies Am off to bed, it's wet and miserable, fire alight, puppies curled up and almost snoring am going to snug up with Bree and the oldies.

Last feed here is at 7.00pm, this morning they didn't wake up until 5.50am, sheer bliss They have had x3 sessions outside today of between 15 minutes-1/2hour. They LOVE a run.

Sorry to hear you have a problem with Nutro. We have been feeding Nutro (both the US import and the Aussie made) to our dogs since 2000 and have never had ANY issues. We have raised six litters (now on our 7th) on Nutro puppy food and they have always done well.

In which case perhaps the enquiries you have both received may not be genuine.

Diva, the sable bitch, still has the squits, hope she will settle down today. TS, would not want your routine of waking up around 3.00-3.30am At least ours have stopped their early morning crying.

Ours had their vaccinations and microchipping done today, also wormed. One or two had the runs and having scoffed down some puppy food were promptly sick. They are much brighter now and have had a little roast chicken which hopefully will settle them.

I would give them the benefit of the doubt. I wouldn't consider the spelling in their email any more dodgy than a lot of posts which you read on DOL ;)
