  1. Coopers Colonial definately dog friendly, we are booked again early Nov. From memory in 2009 there would have been at least 10 dog trailers there.
  2. Rather than a private email I think that replies should be posted here so all can see At our Sheltie Nationals in 2009 we stayed at Coopers Colonial. http://www.cooperscolonial.com.au/
  3. Another NO here. You are the breeder and you decide to set the boundaries, including at what age people can visit to see the pups and at what age they will leave you. If they don't like your decisions they can go elsewhere.
  4. Not looking crash hot for rest of this month or early Nov. http://www.eldersweather.com.au/raindates....=disableCookies

  10. LOL, had a new one made for the Shetlie Nationals last year, as the slogan was "Gathering the Clans", problem was it was too blooming hot here in QLD to wear it :D
  11. Perhaps next year The kilt will need an airing by then :D
  12. Have had email confirmation from the printers, who are HOPING the books will be forwarded to MDBA Pacers late next week, with expected delivery to to be on Monday 18tth October.
  13. We have NEVER had to wait more than 10 minutes for our bitches to be prepped for, and then asked to go in to look at results, of an u/s. We have only xrayed once at 8 weeks, and again waiting time no more than 10 minutes before being allowed in to see the results. Both here in QLD and when we lived in NZ.
  14. We start ours on premium mince at the same age as yours are now. At about 4 1/2 weeks we introduce Nutro puppy food soaked with a little warm water to soften the biscuits, and our home made diet.
  15. Hopefully Odin will gain his title very soon to be followed by Nikki and Thor in 2011
  16. LizT, the vet is 100% sure it is a cyst. As you have described it, it is a minute yellow "fatty" looking pimple. Odin seems happier already and almost back to being 'The Clown" that we have christened him. No mention of an ulceration. Fit for a King, thank you for your recommendation, I didn't reralise that there was a Specialist Centre at Tanawha.
  17. HOPE so, TS. Look forward to meeting you this w/e. Come and find the bi-black shelties.
  18. Odin has a sebaceous cyst on his eyelid, he has had a slow release cortisone injection which should bring the swelling down within 72 hours and a change of anti-biotics.
  19. Odin has a sebaceous cyst on his eyelid, he has had a slow releas cortisone injection which should bring the swelling down within 72 hours and a change of anti-biotics.
  20. We have every intention of asking for a referral if the vet on Monday has not come across this before. The swelling should have gone down by now as odin has been on anti-biotics for a week tomorrow.
  21. Thanks a million HOGZ Yes, the first symptoms were after Nanango on 24th. Odin has an eye ointment to be rubbed over the eyelid, x2 daily. Will mention RED grass seeds to the vet he is due to see on Monday.
