RottnBullies replied to RottnBullies's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
I just scored a 2nd hand 40d for $600 from e-bay Gawd I hope It ain't a dud, so now I have to save for a lens, which is probably going to take me forever! I have a question though I'm looking at the 50mm 1.4 but apart from the couple of hundred $ difference why do they look different from DWI compared to Ted's cameras, says their both from Canon Much appreciated -
Here's another one for you bb case you missed It And your quote: Is appalling to say the least

Aww Thank you kirislin It's just a fancy point n shoot from Olympus, but I'm so hangin for a REAL camera so I can play with the big kids! -
Great shots, and such handsome models

I'd rather be In a sinking Pit Bull ship than have given up on my chosen breed because the going got tuff, the APBT NEVER gives up Thank DOG most haven't given up the fight as some clearly have Oh and I would think one bull breed to another Is "Family" But then again some get to pick and choose their family's too!

Looking At 2nd Hand Canon 40d
RottnBullies replied to RottnBullies's topic in Photos, Photos, Photos
Ok, thanks for that They all seem to be going over the $600 mark, and I can't stretch It beyond the $600 unfortunately, but I guess that's probably what they're worth then. So I'll just keep looking for now -
How old is the breed? Written Pit Bull pedigrees date Into the late 1700's as far as I know, and I did mean they are "one" of the oldest breeds around. Lots of breeds still yet to reach the 100yr mark.
-
There will be no more dual registered dogs at the claytons register as you so call It ima barka. Fact: Pit Bulls are on of the oldest and one of the purest breeds around. Fact: Pit Bulls have been a registered breed long before the existence of many AKC ANKC etc breeds. But enough of that, as people only see what they want to see. My opinion as has always been Is that we need to look after and fight for ALL dogs regardless of breed. Unlike some of the selfish ones here who dare to continue and slander the APBT at every chance they get. Abandoning ship In this case Is most certainly only for the gutless ones, even though they may think that they are the smart ones.

Zayda I'm sorry you have been offended and I do know you have batted for both sides, so to you and others who have I apologize for that. I also love the Am Staff and did not wish any of this to happen. But It also hurts me too to see comments made about the APBT In this way. I mean have a look at the title to begin with. I agree that we need to unite, I always have, but how Is this possible when people are always going to class "us" as second class or Inferior because our dogs aren't papered. Deep down I think you should know that I never meant to offend anyone who has stood up for both sides. It Is hard not to get emotional over It though
-
Are you for real An apology!! Where was the apology when "Certain members of the Doggie world" sold out on the APBT?.....long before this sh!t hit the fan!!! I guess people only remember what they wish to remember It's called selective memory! Tracks have already been railroaded a long time ago and certainly not from the APBT I leave you with a quote from Diane Jessop American Staffordshire Terrier uses APBT then dumps them for dead History Is a fact that no one can deny

Is An American Staffordshire Terrier A Pitbull?
RottnBullies replied to jackie_a1's topic in General Dog Discussion
You've obviously missed everything In this thread, but thanks for the I really needed It! -
I've been watching these on e-bay for the last couple of weeks, but not really sure on how much they're worth, I know It depends on each camera as some are little more used than others for example, but just roughly If you were buying one what would your max price be just to give me some idea. I know I could probably get one of the xxxd new but I really like the 40d and am disappointed It's being discontinued. Also where else can one look for these apart from e-bay or papers, or is just limited to those? Thanks for any advice

WoW That's awesome It Is a pretty great feeling when you sell something, but that many Is even way more awesome!! Congrats

If it's AKC registered it an AST, but you can then register the AST with some of those dodgy registries as an APBT. You can't take you ADBA , GDBA or any of the other shoddy registry Pit Bulls and register those with the AKC One of those dodgy registries who accepted dual registered dogs was the UKC. I'm sure they'd love to hear that people think of them as shoddy. In any case dual registered dogs are now no longer allowed UKC Single Registration Process for American Pit Bull Terriers to close April 30, 2010 Posted on 04/15/2010 Permanent Link For more information, contact [email protected] April 15, 2010, Kalamazoo, Michigan. The United Kennel Club announced today that effective April 30, 2010, the Single Registration process will be closed to American Pit Bull Terriers. Accordingly, the only APBTs that will be eligible for UKC Registration after April 30, 2010 are those who come from a UKC Registered Litter. All applications for APBT Single Registrations that are postmarked or hand delivered after April 30, 2010 will be denied. Also, effective April 19, 2010, TLs (Temporary Listings) will no longer be issued to APBTs. Decisions to open or close Single Registrations for each breed are made after careful consideration and input from the breed associations. It is important to note that this requirement is in no way unique to APBTs; in fact, the majority of UKC's most popular breeds have been closed to the Single Registration process for decades. In all cases, these decisions are made with the breed's gene pool in mind. For example, UKC may decide to keep a breed with a small number of registrations eligible for Single Registration to broaden the scope, health and vigor of a breed's gene pool. However, when a breed's gene pool is vibrant and plentiful enough for responsible breeders to have a large enough base of quality dogs to use in their breeding programs, it becomes a candidate to be limited to littered registered pups. The American Pit Bull Terrier has a historical and well-established gene pool. It was one of the fifteen breeds originally registered by the United Kennel Club when it was established in 1898. UKC founder Chauncey Bennett's own APBT, Bennett's Ring, represented one of the first dogs to be registered with UKC over a century ago. At this time, we owe it to this magnificent UKC breed to close the APBT Single Registration process, not for the benefit of UKC, but for the benefit of the breed. Established in 1898, the United Kennel Club is the largest all-breed performance-dog registry in the world, registering dogs from all 50 states and 25 foreign countries. More than 60 percent of its 14,000 annually licensed events are tests of hunting ability, training, and instinct. UNITED KENNEL CLUB prides itself on its family-oriented, friendly, educational events. To find out more about registration and events, call or visit our website. That's a cracker of a story there, did you come up with that all by yourself?? I'll give you a gold star for such a thorough factual account Of It all The APBT IS the REAL Deal, and far from the trail of ruin, and a load of rubbish that you claim them to be. And "we" would appreciate that you "would be Am Staff saviors" stop slandering the APBT for your own gain and purposes...... as It Is becoming quite pathetic, and there Is nothing to be gained for It except the loss of support.
