  1. I think It may depend on the pound In question, I know Rescues have taken out suspected RB dogs and had the N.O.I done themselves with no probs and dogs going on to be adopted Which pound Is It?
  2. Thanks for sharing this,.....It's hard not to shed a tear remembering and watching those dogs and what they must of gone through I just tried to order the book and for some reason they won't ship It to me ;) Not sure what's going on with Amazon, may have to try someone else Oh and most definitly need to be sent out to our Ignoramus political folk here, and QLD Is a very good start
  3. Hence my comment that I personally think they're "Too Much" dog for our culture here, so no I don't think they're needed In Oz
  4. taken from HERE On the purely practical.... trying to keep a 90kg cool in Australia could be a bit tricky!! Those coats are meant for snow and blizzards :D Click ->AMAZING DOGS!! but definitely not something I would want ! Scary dog. Wow. Dont think anyone needs a dog like that now days....... That's a little narrow minded....try telling that to the people who's livelyhood depends on their stock, without these dogs to protect their sole source of Income who else Is going to help them They are a magnificent breed, and while I believe they are just "too much" dog for here In Australia, they were bred for a purpose, and they fulfill It well. Some people need to step outside the box (Australia), obviously the threats to livestock here, does not compare to overseas, and that's why they're needed
  5. Went to their website, and It's not there anymore, google search came up with nothing Does anyone have their new link, or have they shut down? Much appreciated for Info
  6. Lovely dogs and pup Is gorgeous Sorry to hear about your Zeke, he has such a sweet looking face
  7. Way to go! Nothing like a peaceful protest to get the message out...
  8. Were you part of the Flashmob at Federation Square today? They did well, just watched It, I hope It got the message out there about Oscar's Law
  9. HeHe Well some extra squissshies from me then
  10. I'm guessing he had no papers. If he'd been registered, he'd have been safe from all of this and with you still. Are you sure it was the RSPCA that seized him? Generally only rangers have those powers. What state are you in? Qld? Papers or no papers where was the N.O.I ?? What they did was wrong, he wasn't breed assesed/temp tested, nothing... they seized the dog and pts They abused their powers yet again I'm so sorry for your loss And I sincerley wish you all the best In following this through BSL continues to notch up Innocent Victims
  11. Oh my goodness, cuteness oveload Love that 4th one, I just want to squish her

  13. ;) Yeah she was getting annoyed with the camera clicks disturbing her beauty sleep ;)
  14. Is about the only time It's peaceful here, even then It's doesn't last long I've barely picked up the camera lately, and this was just a spur of the moment pic I decided to take, and I'm glad I did, as I had fun again with the editing! Edited slightly first In lightroom, then more playing around In PS
  15. You'd be surprised what actually comes through Into Australia regarding reptiles that aren't supposed to be here hence Illegal, but that's a whole other topic
  16. Can someone please point out to me In any legislation here that It's illegal to breed APBT where there Is no BSL please As I understand It, no BSL means all dogs are free to be bred Is Is not ETA: Never mind, I think I found my answer, and It's not illegal to breed APBT where there Is NO BSL Jed you need to edit your post as It Is totally misleading, I believe It's not Illegal to register them In ALL states either, provided you follow the laws in that particular state/Council
  17. LoL Cute! I wished It kept my girl occupied for hours, at best she's already to start chewing the jar to bits after 5 mins
  18. YES! Espeially If they want to be real asswipes about It! You have no Idea the number of dogs that have been killed just In QLD alone since BSL A lot of them were just crossbreeds that unfortunately just happened to be unlucky enough and fit the pit Bull "type" Unless he's got papers to prove he Is an Amstaff, In the eyes of the law he's a Pit without them If you could try and chase up papers from the parents of your dog that would be great Have a read through the BSL Forum, there Is lots of Info there about It all And also have a read of this Tango Tango's Story QLD After 6 long years In exile and owners fighting the courts this dog Is now home
  19. I couldn't agree more In what you'd trust more! Different rules for different states, but there are other forums on here to discuss those! Good luck with your boy meh, i get told different stuff every day, some say there illegal, some say there restricted, some say you cant breed them but you can have them others reckon you need a 6 foot fence and its all good.... some say there fine? some say new laws some say old laws id trust a pitty before a chihuaha
