  1. So very glad to hear that Grover is on the mend and will be home soon.
  2. That's not cheesy at all, I think it is what makes breeding quality dogs all about. I cherish the pictures and stories of joy from the puppy owners. I too cry with the owners who have lost their beloved pet to old age. But at the end of the day I know that the owners have been enriched by their pets being a part of their lives and are grateful, and this I am very proud of Yes things can go wrong when breeding but that is the risk you take, a lot of heartache but so much joy!
  3. So very sorry to hear about Grover, healing thoughts being sent to him.
  4. Very good advice given above, timing is critical! I would be contacting the breeder ASAP so that they can be informed and notify the other puppy owners of the potential problem. The incubation period of parvo indicates that the pup already had it prior to you picking up the puppy. I am sure by now you have had the pup tested for parvo and an indication shown????I have not personally had a parvo puppy (touch wood) but I wish you all the very best for your pup. It is a hideous disease.
  5. You may want to give this drug in the morning and not in the evening. As already noted it does increase the thirst, which will increase the urine output. I have found that given in the morning makes it more easier for the dog (who sleeps inside of a night) as well as the owner due to the need for the dog to urinate more frequently. As always it should be given with food or straight after. I hope your boy can be weaned off it soon.
  6. GillBear, what a beautiful girl Abbie is, thank you for sharing those pics. I am so very sorry to hear about Abbie and what she has been through. RIP Abbie, run free

  9. We love our MM's and look forward to seeing them. Mind you with the lack of rain here in Vic, they haven't been seen much at all this year. The last lot of pics are a few years old now.
  10. I am so very sorry to read this, I have been following this thread and hoping and wishing that Jordy was going to be OK and pull though this. So very sad for one so very young. Sincere condolences to you and your family Bokezu RIP Jordy, you fought a brave battle.
  11. "In general, rottweilers tend to be quite dangerous dogs. The puppies might look nice and fluffy at that age but they don't stay that way for long," he said. Mr King you are clearly an ill informed uneducated idiot!!!! RIP Puppies

  15. I have one that I ordered off Ebay. I put it up against a genuine one, can't see the difference. Used both on same dog, still can't see a difference. I know that my hip pocket knows the difference

  17. Sweet Dreams Jess, may you run free at Rainbow Bridge. RIP Jess :D The night sky now shines a little brighter. I must say what a grand age for a GSD, no doubt her life was full of lots of love and every hapiness. to you Meg and Mark Thinking of you both at this very hard time.
  18. Good luck Clyde, I hope all goes well with your girl. I do have to say that the price you said you were going to be charged is IMO, seriously overpriced..... ..........like really??? No wonder so many dogs are not treated for things when Vets think the can charge those kind of prices. I just don't get a lot of Vets and the crazy prices that some charge?????? (I will just pick my jaw up off the ground and walk on)
