  1. I would be arranging for him to see a Myotherapist. It sounds like he has some nerve and or muscle damage/restrictions of some description. I have heard and known of a couple of dogs with a similar problem and it has been found that their backs were "out" and this was causing tension and restriction to the nerves and muscles, and this would cause your boy to do what he is doing. Technically a dog can't have his back out, that would be a dislocation, but by saying the back is out means when they are resticted and or showing obvious signs of restriction and discomfort. I hope you get some positive results soon, but I would be getting a Myotherapist to look at him ASAP. You should mention to them the drugs he has been taking as that will mask his symptoms to a degree. Good luck and hope to hear some good news soon.
  2. I will be looking forward to getting a set of these. See you on Saturday morning!
  3. Congratulations to all the winners and grinners!
  4. Congratulations to all the winners and grinners! It sure was a very cold day today and thankfully the rain did go away for most of it!!!
  5. Well since I wanted to comment on your mats Dyz - I certainly did not want to get told off so I took advice from a poster and started a thread - just for you . I have given my wallet a flogging lately so will need to wait a bit before ordering - but think I rather fancy the purple mat. Will order when I can . Hahaha I think we will have matching mats!
  6. Great news , what colour mat did you get??????
  7. I would go for it, I wish I could get them.........my guys would go nuts for them!
  8. They look great don't they, I will be ordering a new mat very soon. My old one has died a slow and painful death and with the warmer weather coming and more shows to be held outside at KCC I will be ordering a new mat!!! Now the hard part, which colour will I choose?????????
  9. That is the easiest way to put them up by yourself!!! I will be watching to see which company has the compact deluxe on sale in the next few months, I have a 3 x 3 Oztrail Deluxe and I love it, but when going away without the trailer it would be easier to have a smaller / shorter version. I also have a standard 3 x 3 but structurally they are not as strong as the deluxe versions, although they are smaller in length and do fit across the back seat of my Ford wagon. Thank you for posting this thread it has been interesting reading the responses.
  10. Hmmmmm it will be interesting to see if Group 6 finishes before Group 1, lately Group 6 has been the last to finish.........
  11. Sorry but that gave me a little laugh Good on you for wanting to I think that is just lovely.....
  12. Thank you Mr R & NR, I think I have located one that will be suitable, if it isn't I may take you up on your offer. Thank you!!!!
  13. RIP Emma. Condolences to you and your family on your loss.
  14. I have posted this in the Members Sale Section and thought I would post it here to gain the maximum chance of finding one. I am after a large sporn harness for a young dog that has a severe neck injury, she is no longer able to be put in a collar of any description ever. I am hoping somebody out there may have a good second hand one they are willing to sell at a reasonable price.
  15. Looking forward to it, I hope the weather is kind!
  16. No, but I will be interested to see what answers you do get.
  17. Typically using frozen is a risk, by using it you take that risk that pups may not result. I have a number of breeding units from different dogs by imported frozen semen, if any one of them fail to yield pups than that is it, no comeback no money back etc. The risk is on the one using the frozen semen. I would think the general rule is; Imported semen, owner risk and no return. Deceased local donor dog then owner risk and no return. Local donor dog that is still viable for collection than that is up to the owner of the stud what they choose to offer. Personally I wouldn't give a replacement breeding unit if it was one of my dogs who had been collected and the post thaw motilty numbers where good enough to yield a good size litter. There are so many reasons why a litter was not conceived, using it to early / to late etc. If it is a local dog that is still alive and able to still yield a quality collection than the outlines for using it should have been discussed prior to receiving payment for a breeding unit. It still costs money to collect and freeze semen and that needs to be taken into account.
  18. Beautiful work, I can offer some rather large black and tans.
  19. Congratulations to all the winners and grinners!
