I love it, thanks heaps

Harminee, could I trouble you once more. I love the picture you did of Mya, could you possibly add Sterling in beside Mya in the same frame with the same background and no text. No hurry if you have others to do

No clear as mud, have had a quick go and I think I understand but will have a better go in the morning - late here at 12.30

Ok photoshop for dummies, I have created a layer, used the eraser tool but how do you merge the layers so you can see the dogs head? And not just the background with the rubbed out head Umm did you make 2 copies or erase the head on the original layer. IF you have earased the original you will need to open the photo again. Take the layer you have rubbed the head out of and cut it, then with the new original photo reopened paste the edited photo right on top. Hope this helps and if I have miss understood let me know and I'll see if we can work out what you have done Surprisingly I get that. Now if I want to do the background black and white and the subject colour is that done differently?

Perfect, I love it. Thanks heaps Now I was just wondering how you did it. I have photoshop and really must learn how to do things like this. What is it called and I will google a tutorial. I would also like to know how to do the black and white background, I think that would look neat

You bet me, great minds think alike. She does have a bit of green round her top left head, otherwise looking good
-
Very nice, how would it look with a glold frame and same writing but gold?

Looking good but not too sure about the colour Here is my website, I am in the middle of an overhall but I love the background and buttons so want to keep them http://members.tripod.com/airamshelties/

Here is another one I would love something done with, it is Mya as a puppy. I would love to put it on my website, the background on the website is the blue also attach and it has gold buttons on it so the pciture needs to go with that. My website has improved since this thread started!

Unfortunately not too sure what has caused it. Kell has had 2 more seizures since I stopped giving her Metacam. Whether that is an after affect of the Metacam or something else I don’t really know. The vet thinks it is unlikely it was the Metacam but hasn’t ruled it out. Ultimately given her age it doesn’t really matter but seems rather strange that the first 3 times she had a seizure was within minutes of having it. I have started her on Phenobarb today and will have to see what happens. She is so elderly and frail I won’t allow her to continue seizuring, if I can’t control it I will be forced to have her pts which is very sad. I have owned her since she was 8 weeks old, nursed her through pyo and breast cancer and she deserves better than this Peibe, did your foster recover or have any more than the one seizure?

Took Kell to the vet this morning and the answer is it is unusual for Metacam to cause seizures but yes it can. So I have discontinued giving her it to her and we just have to hope for the best.

Just the correct amount for her weight. I am wondering if she has had an allergic reaction. She has had the odd dose of this before but not for some time

Hmm it doesn’t mention seizures. Am sitting here staring at her, too scared to leave her to go to bed. I can see it being a long night. She seems ok now but I would hate that to happen again and for me not to be there. It was a full seizure with paddling and everything. Very scarey and I have to say the cow vet was no help at all. He was not the slightest bit interested in getting out of his warm bed to see my girl

I have a 15yr old who unfortunately has had a bit of a fall and hurt her leg so for the past 3 nights I have been giving her some Metacam. The first night she was acting very oddly about 5 minutes after I gave her the meds, galloping round the house, the second night she had what I now recognize as a focal seizure within a minute of getting the meds. I thought I may have hurt her neck giving her the medication which caused her to act oddly so tonight I mixed it with her food, ful grand mal seizure. I rang the on call vet who tells me nothing he can do, ride it out(cow vet again!) Fortunately she has now completely recovered and apart from once again galloping round the lounge on her crook leg for a while she is fine, she is resting comfortably at my feet. Cow vet says no Metacam doesn’t cause seizures but it seems to much like co-incidence to me. I will of course be visiting my own vet in the morning

That is just lovely. Could you change the narration to Airam babies, would love to put that one on my website

Here are some of my fav puppy pictures from the last litter

Thanks, the one of Sterling is just lovely. I do have photoshop, might try it myself oneday
-
Would love if someone can do one of my favourite picture of Sterling, perhaps with the black background??

No just over the counter. Heavily used by farmers with scouring calves and lambs. Not something a dog owner should be reaching for unless advised to by a vet or someone of considerable experience. It is really only treating the symptom which can disguise something more serious and if used incorrectly can make a dog constipated

I think Scourban has antibiotics in it – and is much superior in my opinion
-
I have used the Aloveen dog shampoo on my own hair occasionally cos it smells so nice. Seems to work the same as my normal stuff but smells much better
-
I do not believe it will impact on his behaviour with people or even the cat that he has already bonded with but it is unlikely that he will be able to be trusted with the chickens again. This would however be the same with most dogs that have not been taught that the chickens are part of the family. If you can safely enclose the chickens I wouldn't hesitate to have him back

Winter Time Accidents Grrrrrr
cowanbree replied to julesluvscavs's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Not really. I have had issue with older bitchs, say 12-16yrs but your girl is hardly that vintage I find as they get older they do get lazier and less inclined to go outside in the cold. That is why the last thing I do before I go to bed is take everyone outside and stand and watch them go. We don’t go inside until everyone has been not pleasant for me but a lot less messes
