  1. Cant wait to see them as I did not take a camera next time I will.
  2. Mine always have their collars on. Never had a choking problem or accident but then I am home just about 24/7 anyway and where I am the dogs are.
  3. Hoping the movie does justice to the book my mum bought it for me a couple of years ago and I have read it several times and just love it.
  4. My dogs are inside dogs and spend most of the time in the house they do their zoomies in the backyard and have an hours ball throwing and free running in the top paddock every couple of days. If I am up to it they do fine on this and have no problems with boredom etc. I believe dogs just love being near us and are happy with that situation. I am home most of the time so they are lucky dogs. Mine do need to run of steam and blow out the cobwebs occasionally and that is where the couple of acres up in the paddock do them well they love it.
  5. I think your a brave person for taking this dog on for seven weeks. Glad you have spoken to her about it. With a problem dog like this I am afraid that I would pass the buck to someone else. It is going to be a very LONG seven weeks otherwise. I would also tell her that any costs invovled whilst looking after the dog including boarding is at her own expense.
  6. We don't have holidays but we do have sleep overs at friends does that count? They come with me when I go I would not leave them at home to their own devices even for one night. Our next sleepover will be the Easter weekend.
  7. There is also the Eastern Gardens in Geelong just up the road from the waterfront not so close to the beach and you can let your dogs off lead there. Urquharts bluff just outside of Airey's Inlet is another very friendly dog beach from there you should be able to make it Lorne comfortably.
  8. Rain mine don't do rain they look at it look at me slowly back away from the door and state "your kiddin right?"
  9. Hope you had a wonderful day one of my very favourite DOL dogs she is beautiful from a baby to now I love seeing photos of her. edited to fix emoticons...
  10. I know I would there would be NO WAY in hell I would let mine perish, be shot, get lost, injured they are my family and I could not live with myself knowing I let my animals down or worse left them to die alone or in horrible circumstances.
  11. My two little ones have slept in the bed from day one. All have done fine and get out of the way when I am rolling no squashed doggies yet. Not for everyone but I love them in the bed at night great hot water bottles in the middle of winter!!
  12. One under the desk at all times. Two on the spare bed behind me under the doona doesn't matter if it is freezing or hot still under the doona.
  13. Another great dog gone to the bridge. A dog that changed many views on Pit Bulls and gave a clearer understanding of a truly beautiful breed. Myself included, Junior has great big paw prints to fill but I am sure he will do a great job. Daddy's passing will be felt by so many people that loved him directly and indirectly. Run free sweet old man you deserve the best. xoxox
  14. You captured that perfectly!!
  15. We have had up to six here on a rural property currently there is four but we have a permit for six with more dogs allowed if we wish to extend the numbers.
  16. I do believe you can have more than on heart dog. Your very lucky to have one but to have a couple is even more rare. I have been lucky I have had three two german shepherds and one terrier.
  17. I would have to say the one with the more white on his face he is divine.
  18. Why not stick to WA breeders you have some of the best over there. That way you can meet the breeders view their dogs etc. That is what I would prefer to do. Also check the Dogzonline breeders under the german shepherd page. http://www.gsdawa.org/ GSDAWA http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/commun...hepherd-dog.asp German Shepherd Page
