  1. I've seen Riley he is incredible. Flea can get to just under 9 foot (what ever that is) as she bombs on the 9 foot one. Busterlove. For the landing you are better of to raise a plat form so that he is not coming down so far. Even if he is going over and not wanting to touch the jump it might be better if is landing higher than he is taking off from.
  2. Was acctully the idea of the Handler. We used a wooden packing pallet/ fence thing (some thing we found in the scouts roms) as a barrier so that when the dog came out she was on the other side to Rusty going in. Josh was holding the fence up and gave Rusty a good growling at when he looked at or barked at Jazz. After a few goes he wasn't looking at her so we moved the barrier. Josh stood in the middle with a height board in one hand (To make him self longer not bash the dog) He had to growl at him a few times, and guide him the first time with the Height board but then he was fine. Two lessons is all he has done like this so now we just have to work on teaching the handler to cross. He may still have issues in Competition but it's a step forward that we thought would take longer to achive. ETA: It was Hades in the first lesson not Jazz.
  3. Rusty the ACD has been competing in flyball for about 18 months but has never been able to cross properly due to his snappy, chasing habits. Having to be released on the line after the dog coming out had already passed ment that the team could not run to it's full potental speed. After a few training sessions with a new idea this is Rusty crossing from 30 ft. Please excuse the dodgey filming. Rusty Crossing from 30 ft
  4. Clover: You are more than welcome to become the fat natzi at Weiners. there is a few there now that could do with a diet. The old red girl is doing great but we also make sure that she only competes at a level that suits her. She only jumps 8" and doesn't have to run a full days copetition. Un like a few dogs I know that come in and out of retirement because the team needs another dog to run
  5. That is sooo cute. I nearly got a good one of her before but she moved. OH is home in bed sick and she is keeping him company. Him asleep on his back, Her next to him asleep on her back. She heard camera turn on and woke though.

  11. I can donate a photo. Wait a tick and I will go find a good one.
  12. LOL the fluff. Hmm truns out it is not such a good idea to give the dogs the old futon mattress as a bed because it is full of crushed foam and well if you dig a hole in the mattres it is very warm and comfy to sleep IN the mattress Looks good though. How do you colour just a small part of it? I have another one of flea that wouls look good like that but it is only on photobucket in B&W already.
  13. There great guys. OH will love them. She is the bad dog ATM though as she keeps eating cat poo and then getting her bowles all blocked up with the stony litter. If you want to keep playing I have another one. Flea (the good dog) Thought it might look good black n white with just the ball green but I don't know how to do that ;) ETA: Opps it's to small. Better get back to my resume/letter wrighting but this is way more intersting
  14. Ok cool I found some great ones on a web site last night while looking at international flyball. Thought I better not steal them though.....Maybe I could ask them they were great

  18. I used a butter knife to teach my Border about the metal object. It is hard fer her to hold as it is so lite so I have stoped for now untill I teach her to hold properly and get a real set.
  19. Miss Polly looks great. Dunno about a pocket rocket though LOL More like I'm cute so I will take as long on this course as I can so that every one has to look at me. You can take the dog out of the show ring but not the showie out of the dog.
  20. not sure if I am giving you any new infomation but if you look up free scrapbooking there are heaps of sites with stuff to down load. Letters and stuff. Now to figure out how to work photo studio Hmmm. I think that is one for the morning.
  21. Some more great work. Do you mind if I post some on the Flyball yahoo group. I know that both Jami's owner and Morgans's owner would like them but are not on DOL.
  22. That is great Harminee. She will be impressed to see it.
  23. LOL You can tell the one of Maggie is older than the one of Tinny and the one of Nova is even older. There is green grass in the one of maggie, brown in the one of Tinny and almost no grass in the one of Nova. You can still see were the ring was a t our grounds.
