  1. ATM I don't think Maggie minds as she is at work with me under the desk. :D Dunno if she will be able to stay there or not (boss alergic) We could have left her at home but we will be in town late and she needs meds and not to chew or knock her tail (or to have foster nut chew it). For those who know Jessica fron Frankston, Maggie has a tail a little longer than that know. Josh is worried about her turn as in slow mo you can see how much she uses it. Jen I wanted to talk to you on Sunday but I was told off for leaving Flea unatended at my car and some dumb ass walked her down to Flyball. They are lucky they kept there arm. LOL I will check with the caterer and get back to you.
  2. Um should I tell you that Bodie is in agaist Bellerine's top team. LOL The running Order has been aproved by the AFA we just have to finish off the stewards roster before it can be email out. ETA: Maggie is out coz she has had to have her tail half amuntated today ;) Dunno what she did to it last night but came in this morning with the about 3 in ches of bone where there was no skin. They have to take off about 10 cm
  3. There not grazing cats. Far from it. The recipie I have is raw Beef mince, Liver, cooked Rice, Calcuim powder, Water, and Salt. It is easy they like it and we'll see how he gos. I will get him checked out by the vet again and if he is fine I will continue on. If not I will have to go onto the CD or the Hills one. About how much would I need to feed one medium sized cat?
  4. I have 3 cats and NO way of feeding them seperate. I also have 5 dogs that eat Euk, one that looks like he will need a special diet as well. Also in past experiance with this particular kitty he cant seem to stomach dry food very well or tined cat food as it gives him the runs. Dry dog food has been ok as well as Raw meat like he is on ATM.
  5. This is about my cat not a dog but the idea is similar. It is recomended that I out my boy on CD Diet but I just canot afford it. I know that CD is great but before CD what did peopel do? I have been given a recipie from the vet to use it is simple enough but just wondering what people did befpre the CD diet came on the market. Oh and I have posted this in the CAT thread as well.
  6. she is looking good. How old is she now? When do we get to see her on a box?
  7. I would love to go but even with out Nats in NSW it would be a $$$ exersice. Well done to the Tassie guys for making the trip.
  8. WOW the things peope can come up with to winge about. Joining a dog forum JUST for this??? To bad if it was spose to be a suprise. Could have just asked one of the Weiners you know. Sounds to me like trouble making not trolling. Yes the wedding was supposed to be a suprise although there were a few people we had to mention it too as they wern't going to come to both day's of the comp. (several plans have been changed so they can attend) The logistics of getting other guests to a flyball comp as well as getting changed and every thing else was getting too tricky so we decided not a suprise would be easier. We could have always had a back yard wedding with family only, the inlaws cooking and every one left for home by 4:30 pm but I want EVERYONE to see how much Josh and I mean to one another. No one is foced to have the meal, stand a round to see the wedding, buy a present or even come to the comp. Flyball is our lives if you ask any one that knows us they will agree, we met at Flyball and got together at the Keilor comp Anzac weekend 2005 FYI: We decided last year after the Weiners comp to provide a meal as many people suggested it and also commented on how nice it was to have a relaxing weekend of Flyball and that sitting around together saturday night would add to it.
  9. How do you "Test it for Free' won't it run out?? Or just not be very good??? I have another program that I use that came with the scanner but it is nowhere as good I'm sure. I did gert a copy of it from an Op Shop for 50 cents but it is for MAC I almost cried. I got Illustrator as well for 50 cents but I don't think I understand it. LOL
  10. Not sure I understand completly how that works LP but I will keep it in mind if wha tI want to do doesn't work out. OH is going to use channel with Maggie as she can do the weaver poles if you guide, lure and step it out right. I think she has done them in a competition once.
  11. Been thinking about the best way to teach my Border to weave. I'm just starting in Agility and am training at Ballarat Dog Club. The way we teach the weave there is with a side stepping dance kinda thing. I understand how it works but my Border is to hypa and fast for that way. I have found this way and want to know what people think of it. weave poles She is very good ith the Clicker. I don't use it a lot but find it is really good for teaching a new behavour.

JUDGES ANKC Licensed Judges and AFA Judges are recognized by either Body and may judge for that Body providing they are members of that Body. CCB Judges are listed on the ANKC Web site and the AFA would need to supply a list of approved Judges if they are to be become ANKC Licensed Flyball Judges. RULE BOOK The ANKC may publish on the ANKC website the ANKC Rule Book that is a version of the common Rules and Policies of the AFA. The AFA may publish on the AFA website the AFA version of the common Rules and Policies. 20. There is more infomation about the agreement in the Flyingtimes (the AFA newsletter) I will find a link.
  21. I have some where that I can get things wood turned. Would the insturtions be on the net some where? I might try to google it when I get home.;
  22. Thanks guys. A medium would be the right size for my Border x kelpie wouldn't it? or would a bit big be better than a bit small?
  23. Hi all can't find the web page to the place with the kelpie's that you can get dumbell and sent articals from. Any one remember it?
  24. You sometimes have to take it slowly moving from the middle to the side or the dog doesn't quite get it and can miss jumps or over correct. By buggerd if I could get it right with Miss Polly on the weekend I kept stuffing it and moving to far out and she kept missing the jumps From the side also means that you are out of the way of the other people coming in and going out. If Darcy lacks that bit of confidence then it might be good for him to come like that. Also on the way out if the dog coming in on him so straight then he may come out faster or just with more confidence. The Human Racing we did at our comp taught us a few things about intimidation and crossing. One thing was that Mick is dam scary running at you from 50 foot
  25. I didn't notice the angle A big angle is a bit of a personal preferance of Josh n I. A dog that comes in from a big angle is less intimidating than one that comes in straight. It is also handy for the box end if a ball goes way wood.
