I just realised that this thread is missing somthing very important. Sexy Staff photos I'd go first but I don't have any on the work computer I just discovered.

Generally a pet puppy will cost between $800 & $1200. A "show potential" puppy might be a little more but since no one can guarantee the "show potential" of any 8 week old puppy, the price shouldn't be hugely different. Let me guess - this puppy is blue? Blue IS NOT RARE so please don't be sucked in to paying a premium price for a very common product. Hi sandra, you are right the puppy is blue. I find thats a little too expensive even if its blue. I will keep looking.. thanks when we were looking for a pup we were quoted simmilar to that for a BLue and also for a Black, we waited and now have a very sexy boy that didn't cost us the earth. Colour shouldn't effect price.

CL - it depends on your camera. Mine does but it is a "Special" feature for my point n shot b/c it's a wanna be SLR. Shame it has no manual functions.

I have one I thought it might help Bailey Tug in the ring at Flyball as he will tug to play but prefers food to tug. I couldn't figure out how to work it. LOL at self.

Harnessing And Focussing Drive
LilBailey replied to LilBailey's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
DD you put it the exact words I was looking for. The handler has the time and is wanting to train at home as well as at class so that is a big plus. -
I second Cosmolo. Don't rewrad a correction, but do reward correct behavour of a comand such as sit.

Harnessing And Focussing Drive

SM: We are supposed to be going to the sporting terrier show but the entry is still sittin gon the coffee table waiting to be sent. LOL opps. Squirt: Thats a really good idea, breaking it all down. The club that she came from tends to mainly do full run after full run. So far I have TOT to build some focus and breakdown the exersizes to see were some extra work is needed. PS what is TID? or what ever you said SM -
Harnessing And Focussing Drive
LilBailey replied to LilBailey's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Thanks PF but at this stage it really is more of a training issue than a physical one. His owner is well aware of the physical pressures of dog sports as are we. When I say he is already competitive I mean he can do a full run in a competition situation, he wasn't trained by us and if he had been he would not be competing yet as IMO he is not mentally ready to handle it with out hurting himself or someone else. -

PF I think it is more likley a training thing than a physical thing. Probably an attention thing I would guess. -

Harnessing And Focussing Drive

He is not destrated by anything in particular. He is just full of his own energy, he is a kelpie. I'm thinking some TOT may help to get him to focus and drive for a toy then he has a more specific responce. atm he seems to just do flyball because it in it's self is fun. -

He doesn't have any specific problems really, just that he has heaps more potental. He is a bit airy fairy I guess you could say. But he does what he is supposed to do when he is supposed to (well he did in training) he just could do it soo much better if he concentrated. -
Hi all OH and I are working with a handler and dog atm on flyball. The dog is already competitive in flyball and has a lot of drive, the main problemn is harnessing and focusing that drive so that he can be the fast competitive solid flyball dog he has the potential to be. I have a few ideas but just wondering what other people might suggest. Thanks

I love reading this thread and seeing how well everyone is doing. I can add my own now. Flea got her First novice Jumping Pass. We have been so close so many times with just a knocked bar or somthing. now we have done it. Woo Hoo ETA: Ruby is the owners name a mistake or is she registered in some one elses name? I think you should get it fixed up ASAP what ever the matter is.

WOW is all I can say

Hay thats a good deal. our new box cost $1000 on it's own. Slightly different style but if your just starting out thats fantastic

Ausi dogs can burn their feet indoors because they slide. Some to the box and some just on to the motovator. In the US where they train indoors the dogs don't slide.
